I might try soil next time much less work all tho I've set up my diy drip ring system . should make feeding time much Easyer tho I like the idea of soil being able to water every few days not every day like with coco

Have finished off the lst today they took well to the toppings even with my clumsiness but all is well now most I have been gently bending individualy every day I hooked a few up with soft wire and regular I made my self a drip ring system (not fully set up just put in place) while not in use I'm using it to assist with training holding leafs blocking light and also bending stems inbetween each other for better light they look a bit retarded but close there nice .....

Just tested out my home made drip ring system it's suprisingly good , instead of an electric Aqua pump I used a 7 litre pressure sprayer took its nozzle off and used a fitting from a tool so the micro piping fits below is a pic of it connected to a ring to test the spray and give you an idea how simple it is and how it works

just waiting for little 5 or 4 way connectors so can feed 4/5 at a time but has been a great help on my back already so happy days when the connectors arrive I'll give them there finishing touches but happy no more splash as one plants leafs are a bit patchy and one patch is burned bad so no more splash back related dramas home made feeding system cost under £20 and I can use the pressure sprayer to feed them and can get right in no splashing also upped the nutes 3,5ml of a&b 4,5ml cal mag 3ml
Rhizotonic phed to 5.5 run off is 6.0/6.2 :) Happy growing
