Got a really powerful turbo fan also one more waiting to arrive a mini 6 inch oscillating fan the turbo one is 8 inches 35w power my monkey fan is 13 w so near triple the power of the monkey fan but uses more electricity but won't bump it up to much with everything running its only at 500!! watts if that running 2 900 w Mars LEDs 2 powerful induction/extraction fans and the monkey most the power used is by the air system (this is with lights just on growth setting will go a bit higher when no the switches are on but that's hardly any power used for a full blown set up ....⚡️⛽️

Another clip on fan has arrived I doubt I'll need anymore at this point they are getting bigger and bigger every day In a few days I will be attempting to top them all I may leave one untopped just to see the difference I've noticed the biggest one is getting loads of nodes even the little leafs branching off have them Inbetween I think when topped that one will be massive ...

Forgot to put this but in one of the pots there was growth of some kind it looked like a blade of grass or something I pulled it out should have took a photo I assume this is contamination of some kind as I doubt it sprouted from the plant

.....update.....


So we are around day 12 of the grow in a day or so I will be topping the whole lot of the blue treacles also transplanting the 2 in the solo cups to bigger pots 1 same as rest 16 litre root nurse pot the other will be in a regular pot from the garden I'm expecting to see transplant trauma but I will top them same day so they only have to deal with that stress once and can recover from both few photos of the largest and the rest from the back of the tent ...

The rest are catching up nicely and reacted well to the nute up ..

My only concern atm is some of the perlite has gone a tinge of green light kinda looks like a green glow ( it's not the glare from the LEDs I took it out and looked in normal light ) some bits of perlite have turned a bit green not sure if to be worried or not but shall do some reading and get to the bottom of this

the green tinge is actually algae is nothing to be concerned about just means you got some healthy soil let it dry out a bit more between watering and if you want scoop it off and replace the soil but it's nothing really to worry about. Your plants look great btw :goodjob:

Hey velk you can put hydroton on top but if you just leave it the plant should get big enough to block out the light and it will go away from my experience. I don't really worry about it but I run pure coco. Hydroton works great through.

So tonight's been a busy night loads of diy going down , ive been abit worryed about the drainage on my pots so went out and got ones that are basically made of holes.

As they had holes in the side I used strips of duck tape on the inside as a waterproof lining so run off doesn't go every were these again from pound land so very cheap

Just changing these over then will proceed with the transplants and topping of all 10 BT I'll document the topping with some photos Mrs was ment to help but she's fell asleep and left me to do it lol also got some soft wire and normal for when I start the lst in a few days .........

Another update

All have been topped and a few fimmed by mistake lol I tried to cut the top top on the highest node I didn't hit the 2 little bits of grows hopefully from what I've done I should get 2 - 4 main colas (hopefully .)

On two of them I done the top tops and caught a top leaf so looks like a tripod one I took the remanding leaf off Happy growing velk ...........
