im starting to follow now,
the other day i was doing some electrical work, i was using a multi meter, then i got round to doing my plants and i for some reason put the testing sticks from my multi meter into the soil, and i was shocked when i got a reading back on the meter, now when i touched the soil the volts vanished, till the next day when they seem to have come back, would this very low voltage be the microbes working away in the soil, while i was out i took my multi meter with me and tested some ground soil and found no voltage reading, but when i check the compost i have in pots that is not been earthed out to ground i found it contains a low amount of volts, is this the microbes at work
I do feel a bit guilty for waging an unholy biological genocide as I look across the killing fields (err, sticky traps) filled with thousands of bodies though... Actually, no I don't...forget what I said about feeling guilty!
It's a warrior/man thing...females are much more compassionate.
Actually, no we're not...I LOVE to watch them die!!!!!!
I'll light the match!!!MsMe, OMG your so freeking funny... lets burn our bra's for MJ
Pure01,
What exactly are you saying?
Is Penn & Teller's opinion that of your own?
Why not share your opinion?
Okay, it's time for another update! Be warned! I'm highly medicated at the moment...so if I say something that doesn't make sense, you'll know why!
Yesterday they all got dunked in a Nature's Own tea and fish/seaweed fertilizer solution. As much as I hated dunking at first, I've now refined the process, and made the whole thing much easier. Don't get me wrong, it's still not one of my favorite things to do...but it's not that big a deal any more.
I may only dunk them from now on. They take on much more liquid when dunked, and the plants seem to prefer it...seriously! They look happier after a dunking! I think one of the challenges of this style in small containers is keeping the soil moist. Microbial activity is dependent on moisture, so I don't like to let the pots dry out like I used to when I was using OC+. Larger containers will hold more moisture and keep the beneficials happier.
So...they've entered the 6th week, and there's not a whole lot going on. They're putting on weight, but I'm not sure how much fun that is to watch...but here they are anyway!
May 23rd
12/12: Day 43
Bloom: Day 37
I thought I might as well start off with the whole SOG this time...
Then a closer pic of the canopy...
And of course, some random buds...
If they are disturbed, the first sent that hits me is lemon! Not the same lemony smell that I get from the Super Lemon Haze moms (I can only imagine what those will smell like in flower!), but definitely lemony. I'll have to go back and read the strain descriptions I posted in the beginning, but I don't remember lemon. I thought they were saying more of a fuel smell... Oh well, I hope you enjoyed the pics!
Wow Vape those girls are looking soo freaking good! Awesome job my man.
I did agree with them on some things. It's scary crazy what is allowed to pass as "organic" when it comes to our food. Just about anyone can meet the criteria and slap an "organic" sticker on the food you are buying. Then be able to charge you 2-3 bucks more for what ever it is you are buying.
Weather or not Organic foods are better for us has yet to be proven. As for if they taste different, Penn and Teller did a blind taste test and more often then not people picked the non organic foods as organic. Now I realize this test can be edited for TV to prove their point. Just watch to show and decide for yourself. Personally there needs to be stricter regulations on what passes for organics, before I see the sense of increasing my food bill 50-100 bucks a week.
The topic of that show and what Vape is doing are two totally different things. Hence why I didn't go into much detail. The conversation was steering towards organics in general so I thought it prudent to tell people to go what that show.
[h=2]High Brix Foods Have Greater Mineral Density[/h]One of the health rules that Dr. Carey Reams taught was that:
"All disease is the result of a mineral deficiency."This rule clearly shows why it is so important to eat foods with high mineral density. One of the most important nutrients that increases with high brix readings is calcium. According to Dr. Reams calcium levels in produce rise and fall proportionately with the brix levels. This has been independently confirmed by Bob Pike in his research on tissue testing. Disorders and degenerative diseases resulting from a calcium deficiency could fill several books.
