Re: Vapedogg223's Got a Brand New Bag! All Organic, High Brix, Nirvana Ice, 49 Plant
Generally darker green would equal more nitrogen...but it also takes a little while for the mulch to start decomposing. If they are new clones you are talking about, they will often show various deficiencies until the roots are established, and you get some new growth. Remember, when you clone, once you make your cut, all that little cutting has to survive on, are whatever nutrients it has stored until it's roots are established.
I aslo think it's important to root cuttings in a medium that has mycorrhizae already added to it, or you need to add an inoculant yourself. (Yes...it's in the kit!) It's important that the fungi colonizes the plant's roots as soon as possible.
Speakin of the mulch robbin the nite. would this cause a slight light green instead of the darker green, or vice versa? I have mulitpal clones and some look darker than some, both are looking healthy, but some look lighter green. Its hard to say as this has been a problem since I started cloning, some just look totally different than others?????
