It’s almost there on showing sex, I’m 70% sure it’s female but I need to see that pubic hair little white pistil.
Made her bleed again, on purpose. Dark Color I wouldn’t say purple. Obviously put my finger and tasted it this time; somewhat bitter/astringent.
Anyway I will keep and eye for purple finishing trait.
I’m sure the blood like liquid is due to high production of a particular phytohormone. Can’t pin down which one, not a lot of information online about this.
Funny to notice that this one in the pot and the other PSf1XFM in the ground both bleed blackish.
Geno trait??? Because they ain’t the same pheno that’s for sure.

Lots to discover with these two.

Hard hard, that branch I broke and taped, I hit it again lol, she alive and well. I hit the apical dominant top all along its growth line. This pheno doesn’t bleed. She is so fast at picking up and shooting upward, also starting to show calyx/pistils on several branches now; that’s the fastest of all the plants I have right now.

After this morning I spray willow foliar to all. I watered last night.

Bud update;

Something was having fun with a branch of one of the auto flow; lol left a glittering trail but no damage, don’t see anything indicating anything wrong besides the glitter.
The buds showing lots of Trichomes development on sugar leaf, some what of calyx to leaf ratio the same?? Not many pistils as other phenos ohh well what the heck do I know about Ruderalis genetics…
I did some defol on this plant I missed several lower popcorn nodes. She smells sweet and perhaps mango like. Very nice sticky resin

Im totally ready for this one. The lanky take for ever to flower kind of pheno. She also bleed dark sap when I train. As you can see not at all the same phenotype. Let’s check again mid July for a pistil. I can see the loved the watering I gave them last night. 3 day no water cycle. I’m going to run a one week no water during flower and also a 2 week no water mid August. Then the season might change in September/October/November…

Just busting with growth, has exploded since Solstice. Been training it hard she is gonna be (hopefully she) a big girl. I see a bract but no pistil and it’s too darn small. 🔥

Big leaf pheno, robust and hard to train that main top. 80% sure on sex need that pistil still. The pheno has gotten better, it’s picking up the pase. The other Durban kicks this one to the curve. Bottom line is this one might be a nice looking plant but still got beat by her peer. Nice to have it around, looks just like mom.

Not sure bro, that happened overnight.
Seems like a slug passed by but didn’t eat. I foliar sprayed willow tea last night before “lights out”

I been spraying again my willow tea.
That’s some great stuff that ☕️ tea, I wish you’d give us the recipe again. CL🍀 :thumb: :thanks:

Biodynamic beyond organic gardening.

I have never seen a frog on my plants that's cool.

First time for me too brother. I know it’s there eating bugs so I’m happy. What is making a difference is they I have all my plants less than 10 ft from my “pond” raw tea container that has 100lts so it’s a somewhat “wet” environment here.
No mold, no mildew. Crossing fingers.

I'd hate to think I killed a frog for no good reason. Thankfully I have no frogs around my plants. I see a toad every now and then but they stay away from plants at least my plants.

Like nothing happened, I opened up the canopy and widened the plant avoiding it from getting 8ft tall. And I play around with the hormones.

You don’t need to have a bunch of insects on the plants a few ladybugs and the occasional spider but you have to be on it because the lay eggs and that’s no fun.

Me I like seeing things like this, that’s WHY I grow outdoors… the setting/setup is alive, very alive, way more than inside a tent (which is alive as well, nothing against indoors I do it too), just look at these things happening in this micro-universe, grasshoppers, flies, bees, frogs, spiders, caterpillars… they all want a piece of the pie, and you get to dictate rules on your universe.

The insects and bugs are there giving me a message, they aren’t killing my plant or messing it up, they are just being Nature and that’s fine. But I won’t let a slug fuck up my plant, or a caterpillars eat half my fans leaves.

A good preventive approach to pest and disease is the backbone of the outdoors setting/setup success. YES there are times where drastic measures should be taken (potentially using strong products) to cure a really bad issue; I can understand that in a bottled nute fed grow; NEVER gonna happen by organic and biodynamic principles, no respected serious organic grower will ever spray chemical and derivatives to their plants.

That’s just a fact.

I get it organic chemical free. Thats all great if you have the time and energy to put into it. I have enough problems growing the way I am now. I guess I am too lazy for an all-organic grow. If you do not make your own spray to feed your plants, you will be buying something that says organic, but I believe it is still large scale produced. This to me is not real organic. Dani you have the closest thing to true organic grow, I on the other hand if I see bugs, I think first kill them not what natural insect will kill it for me. Ya I am lazy because I do have the time, I am retired but I do not have the knowledge for an organic grow. To be honest I do not even know what insects are beneficial for my plants. Lady bugs that's about as far as I go. It would be nice to see a list of good insects for our cannabis plants.

Bent a bunch of tops, successfully with out breaking any branch. Strong pinch to the stem and then bend, I gained access of light to the canopy, better entry point for air flow, this also allowed to see inside the buds; no issues at all. This pheno is swelling and smells of mango and sweet fruit, lots of Trichomes at sight.
