I want to share some of the projects I have on the go, as part of the “wholeness” of my style of gardening or farming. We have recently with the help of the landowner started a bee honey project; it’s learn as we go thing. Would love to see them all over the flowering cannabis. We don’t know exactly what to expect but it’s an enriching process of learning and possibly some psychoactive honey 🍯 I’m dreaming a little there.

My finger pointing at the hive, a good 15 ft from the cannabis.

On the side we have a selection of weeds I use for fertilizer and/or other properties; companion plants and flowers all beneficial for the Microsystem we have here.

And today I went for a very early up pot to the Malawi/haze pheno, I want it to go faster so gave it a new floor space. Honduras is not ready for anything, needs a week or so.

The flowering Auto, I had her mistakenly labeled too indica for my taste at the beginning

That’s one of the oldest fan leaves… this is the top new growth

Not much of an Indica dominant here… lol hybrids.

Some of the self pollinating balls I was describing in earlier posts. One pistil inside a pollen sack, for sure feminized seed. I’m used to nanners and hermies, seen them lots of times. All good 👍🏻

Takes time but I got her on the sweet spot, she might finally start to bud and stack instead of elongation.
She ain’t bad after all.

Regarding foliar feed and strength I guess one of my phenos the Durban is showing the limits, I might have gone too strong yesterday.

The reservoir experiment is still going. I seen a couple shy pistils here and there but she still bulking hormones.

Some leaf removed to clear for light penetration.

I foliar feed again this morning. No watering.

This training mimics the same hormonal explosion you would see on a Topped or FIM plant. With the particular case that I leave the main top as it takes longer to heal from a cut limb than a broken one, based on my experience. If I manage to have a levelled canopy the redistribution of phytohormones is done in slightly equal proportions all around the plant instead of just heading to that one main cola/top. Evidence is seen a day later when most new tops will reach the highest point of the plant, settle and start side branching.

Just a quick pic update;

All up, and realigned waiting for the sun. Overcast and possibly rain.

Foliar feeding does the trick. Training does the trick. Pretty happy so far.

It has been overcast here all week too. Need sun

Hey brother do I have to worry about nanners on mine seeing that they are all landrace? CL🍀🤔

I don’t think you need to worry, I give the benefit of the doubt to Ace seeds they probably did their genetics right. That been said I noticed 2 possible triggers for stress related hermie on your tent;

1- light stress from buds being too close to the light.
2- heat stress from the setup, a sudden spike will stress the plant.

Other than that bro I think you should have a wonderful harvest of sin semillas

GT is a cross not a pure ergo Ace should have got rid of hermie traits.

You shouldn’t worry about it, if it happens it could be at the end of the grow. It shouldn’t happen NOW otherwise genetics aren’t good.
Ace says that GT and CT handle hot temperatures great. CL🍀

Can you geta hermi with any strain? It seems like there are a lot more of them happening now, I do not remember this many last year.

All cannabis can have dual sex. ALL. That is what I understand and so many other articles and biologist say about this plant. It has a genetic capability to have both sex and self pollinate for propagation of the species.

That is just the way it is. Now us smokers, and growers like NO seeds so we discovered that an isolated and saturated plant with female hormones will produce ONLY flowers, no seeds or male reproductive organ. A Female flower that never gets pollinated is a bud.

2 things will trigger Hermaphroditism; genetics and abiotic stress. Abiotic is all kinds of stress that are not natural, let’s call it Man made stress.
