If you could get pictures of doing it step by step that would be awesome 🤩. I understand if you want to keep it to yourself though.(You can always pm me with it). lol. CL🍀 :cheesygrinsmiley:

I dont have a secret brother, I just gave it like a couple posts back. Lets put it simple use a JADAM method and use Willow leaf to make it. AZI has a whole thread based on Jadam extracts.

I will make a post when I get it done will tag you in it.

Couldn’t get to update this morning here’s todays catch;

The Auto with a water reservoir looks decent but I think it has a degree stunted growth… not too worried. Lateral shoots look tight. Still no roots to be seen coming from the bottom of the pot.

The other Auto is looking more and more male. I’m losing interest because it’s not the best pheno and it’s got the 20gallon grow bag I better use it for something better. The training is good it answers pretty strong to training and the smell is dank almost skunk.

If these two Autos pollinate each other I’m ok with that. It’s whatever with these 2 first time I seen these seeds. It ain’t bad but I have this to focus on;

It’s pretty cool that you did training with an Auto most people are afraid of stunting them but yours took right to it. Is there anything special that you did to keep them from being stunted? CL🍀

I did water every day and foliar feed the one Auto that is being trained. The other one had a 15 days dry period because I didn't know I needed to water a plant that has a water reservoir in the bottom. Thats my bad, but now she is up and running. Quite a size difference between them.

I have no clue of the genetics on the Autos, add to that the mother plants had accidentally been pollinated with random pollen (happens in outdoors)... I'm getting to know them this first time around.

I forgot to add, been playing around with the Auxins in the plant; phytohormone responsible for stem elongation and cell division; basically endogenous growth hormone.

That is a great question actually; 2 great questions

From the molecular point of view I would think It should do the trick, Salicylic acid would still be found in dry material. You would probably not find leaf mold in the dry ones. Also keep in mind the bark does work as well and is said to have the higher concentration if the acid.

I think a carboy with an airlock would probably work better than a maison jar (just price wouldn't be the same).

Seems like you got a real good experiment right there Mel. I would love to know how it goes.
:passitleft:
Also, especially if using dry material, you'll want to add additional microbes to help break down the material. I use fresh worm castings, but compost, or leaf litter stored up from the prior season would work also.

But, once you're up and running it's probably best to use fresh material in the fall and let it breakdown all winter for use early in the spring.

Here’s the material before the long weekend;

There is that one little pistil letting me know flower hormones kicking in. Right about 5th node. This one was on death row but I can give it a chance.

I watered heavy and foliar feed. See you Monday

:party:
It's so nice to see your girls outside loving life. :yahoo:
It's still barely above zero here, pouring feken rain.
Glad I'm not a kid camping anymore. Always loved 5/24.
Just another cold weekend now. ;)
Glad your warm and dry my friend.
Enjoy gardening this weekend.
Take care.

This is Durtertes Nightmare, I thought it was going to be giving the same as last year a wimpy tall male that had issues for the frist month and well turns out this pheno is way better. I like it, it’s totally apart from the rest I have. Perfect candidate for Malawi/haze and Honduras.

I made the mistake to engage in a internet discussion over a HighTimes post on instagram where they showed the winners of the first ever cannabis cup. Only 3 breeders participated and the genetics were some real awesome untouched genetics; to sum it up there is a big big big difference between a F1, S1 and IBL. I want to share this podcast/youtube video very informative conversation with highly educated and professional breeders.

S1, selfing or self pollinated seeds are not a breeding technique but a form of preservation of a specific Geno pool. F1 seeds are said by these guys here the most stable form you can have of any cross breeding experiment. F2 starts to become less stable given way to other traits that are recessive or didn't show in F1 or S1; so when looking at pest resistance trait you might not see it in a F1 or S1; but after the second run with the same Geno pool, if you are to crossbreed and make a new F1 the pest resistant trait could 25% there in F2 or not show at all being recessive.
Anyway its a real treat to hear experts talk about seed making and cash crop seed making.

They’re really looking good bro and it’s looking like you’re a runaway to win GJOM C

If I win I am happy, if I dont win I am happy. As long as the information gets out there I am happy.

Cant wait till I have some size and flowers so I can drop some nominations for plant and bud of the month.

I’m looking forward to it too especially if you have something like last year. CL🍀

This morning I did my usual walk through;

Did major training on one Auto, bent and twisted the stem at the 5th node. Also redirected the 3 new apical dominant tops by bending. Crazy enough right now 6hrs later the whole plant rose up and is facing the sun. I love how this works it’s insane, immediate restructure of the cell walls and repair.

Every time I do training I follow with a watering with my tea and foliar feed, every time.
