Hello Yeti! I'm very new to all of this but I found a purple plant back in September.
I was dying to get because the effects of it sounds perfect for all my illnesses. It is an auto that I really wanted but I just can't afford the sucker due to my $ situation. I hope it's something that you are looking for. She looks amazing and I seen a lot of grows on you tube and photos. She is as purple as Barney the dinosaur. LoL

Thank you for the suggestion. I should have said that the plant I had pictured was the most purple photo strain I have ran. I ran Dark Devil a couple of times and it was so purple it was almost black! I could never get it to yield well, though I have heard others say they pull a qp off each plant regularly. I do not run autos mostly because of a plant count I have to stick to and not having any more room than I do. I do have seeds of a few other strains that sgould turn purple that I will try. I have a pack of the Star Pupil and all of them are supposed to turn purple. We will see at some point.

I have several strains that have purple in them supposedly, Just need to get to growing them. I have a couple GDP from Canuk Seeds that I am really wanting to try.

I have a lot of strains that are supposed to turn purple it is just a matter of finding the right pheno. I have a Purple Persuasion going right now and I think I may have gotten the one green pheno out of the 4 that show up! That tends to be my luck. I have gotten some nice purple out of my Querkle and my Pineapple Fields shows various shades of it as well. I would be interested in seeing your GDP grown out. I have seen someone grow Blim Burns version and it looked nothing like the actual GDP. I have wanted to get GDP seeds but cannot justify the cost of them. The one US bank that carries Ken Estes gear is out of it and all the over sea banks want twice what the American bank does before shipping. I grew out a GDP clone I had gotten given and never managed to get a clone off of it which was disappointing. I had purple colas as tall as a gallon jug that were about as thick as a soda can.

I haven't really decided yet, I guess it depends on how slow it grows. I have a perpetual system so I can move it to the flower tent in it's own time. Hey Bizz, welcome buddy and glad to have you. We definitely have some great growers here. Should be a fun trip. Things are a little slow while the roots do their thing, but it should start picking up in 10 days or so. Soil can be a little slower initially than other mediums.

Not a lot to report today. If this wasn't a sponsored grow, I probably wouldn't do an update today but I will throw one up anyways. Leaves are getting a bit bigger. A new set appeared on Nukehead #2 (the bigger one). I suspect Nukehead #1 will follow suit tomorrow if all goes well. I will also start looking for roots to start becoming visible in the clear solo cup. I love me some roots. Fan time begins tonight.

Loving the nukes van! I just love watching them cotylodons growing. The true leaves coming up....makes me tear up. They grow up so fast. Pretty soon theyll be mating and having all sorts of adolescent fun. Then boom 9 weeks later. Babies.

Yeah fun times brother. These are starting out nice. I will try to dig up pics of the previous grow at this same stage and compare. I don't imagine there is a lot of difference but I still like to compare.

The best part is if you accidentally drop something heavy on one of them you could potentially have octuplets right then and there! Wow look at number two go! She's growing fast she's going to be the bigger sister it appears . healthy color too.

Yeah I was kind of expecting #1 to start catching her older sis, but that doesn't look like its going to happen any time soon!! LOL, and don't even curse me by mentioning dropping something!

On a side note....I bought some Exotic Genetics gear today. Going to have some good stuff to try in the perpetual. I think I will move a couple of the strains up the lineup. I am kinda having buyers remorse right now.....but Ms Stank and I agree that the reward is worth the risk for Stank Genetics.

That alone was enough for me to want to try it. I think I will grow one of theirs as opposed to Humboldts on the first go around. Nothing ventured, nothing gained eh brother!

That plant looks a lot more like Dark Devil, very distinct color... Van try some DD... you be glad you did. Its an AUTO. I run a 10 pack in my VEG room with the other VEG plants and at the end of the VEG - nice bag of purple buds to hold you over till the VEG plants finish. Taste is outta this world too... smells & tastes like berries.

Lotsa plants I grow turn purple... but just the fans and a few sugar leaves. The DD - the flowers are purple and leaves mostly bright green. I dont usually document those plants .... they are too small but for a nice stash bag... I always have some. I've been growing it ever since Sweet Sue and I ran it at the same time a long long time ago. There's a Dark Devil thread that's been going for a while now.. you will see most all the plants look like that purple flowers they stay purple even after drying.

There's a green pheno that is like 1 in 20 chance you get it... doesn't have the eye candy but it tastes even more like berries. I've been puffing on some of that the last few weeks. Smoke a gm or 2 and its a full on body buzz... mildly psychedelic too. The part I like.

Edit: QP off 1 Dark Devil.... lucky someone! I've grown it over 200 times. Not even close. A 10 pack, if I get 10zips dried I'm ecstatic.

What did you get... lemme know if you want some more. I have huge stash of Exotic gear. Why the remorse. Everything I've ever grown from them was fire. Anything with Starfighter in it... I think I have it in stock hahahahahaha! Just plant more than you thing you will need, you will get some males and are hard to sex in VEG.

Yeah I might eventually run some of those Dark Devils. I was hoping that someone was going to figure out a way to make a photo by now, but doesn't seem like its likely Bob. I hear great things about it.
