Why clip the tips off is it a way to get better yeilds i have never heard of it??

I just clip the tips to allow better light penetration plus to promote root expansion (pretty sure I read that lol) but also had no need to actually cut stems at the moment

Could be doing something wrong but I just get info and decide on my own I may make mistakes but as long as I learn from it but yeah I definitely wanted more light on thise nodes/stems

I do that sometimes too, early in veg. Lets me keep more photosynthesis going while opening up space for light to penetrate. I do it if i cant just tuck them out of the way.

Thats exactly why I do it to lazarus plus I did read a few places that that can also encourage stimulated root activity

Well at this point in time with little prunes and how im trying to work my watering schedule im more focused on root development.

When I switch to flower and it gets its stretch that stretch will be more vigilant then if it had a less established root zone.

This is my first grow on my own but not the first rodeo so I have a person around that can help me if I get myself into trouble.

But its not just opinion on the root ball determines the yield ultimately on any plant its science

Roots are double the size of your plant ALWAYS for example

I named them nuetral names stacy and sam just in case they are male. but I do believe I may be able to officially call sam samantha

I dont know if you can see it and I don't have my magnifier yet but I do believe those could be preflower pistols
