I think I get how that mister works. Neat idea. I bet it will actually work better with your system since the water level will stay constant. In the little DWC style, you would have to add back often I imagine, or that mister would end up hanging above the water.

You're definitely one of my favorite posters. I really appreciate how much thought goes into your responses. Plus, you're always full of useful information.

thanks Hiker, your right , as a stand alone system you would have to top off daily or water level would drop too low and the sprayer wouldnt work. also there would be no way to regulate water temperature.

well two of the HGK's are up and in the system, the third HGK seed has popped but is not up, i put that one in the system as well as a SKYWALKER OG from reserva privada. my free CHEMDAWG seed from HSO didnt pop. i'm just going to germinate the SKYWALKER OG in the system. the two seedlings that are up are in one unit and the seeds are in the other.

water temps are 78f
air temps 77f
ph 6.3
ppm 75

not off the the greatest start but hoping all will get on track from here

looking good. i like the set up. im running something like that right now but with 30 buckets. im about to journal it. i think u would have been better to use 1 plant per pot, just to prevent them fighting each other for light when they get bushy but thats a minor issue. i bet ur nute bill is cheap compared to mine haha

im real behind on journals and who is doing what. ive been so busy with builds and organising my defense for my case. but i'll try to catch up. to be fair most my attention will be in my own journal which u are more than welcome to stop by. but i will be floating around.

hey cult, really nice seeing you over in my journal:) glad you like the new setup. i plan to train the inside plants to the center under the big ds350 xml to give all the plants better spacing, thats why i have more space between the two units. i know my nute bill is nothing compared to yours , but if your running undercurrent now you should be able to run lighter strengths on the nutes and that will save you money:) i'll be over to sub up to your new journal for sure. thanks for stopping by.

thanks s1ing, two are up and doing fine one the taproot came out but the seedling hasnt popped up . i'm going to give her a day. the

today HGK #1 and #2 are growing HGK #3 is lagging but has popped up a little more today so i'm going to let her do her thing.

running a 18/6 light cycle right now. top off res is filling perfectly. ph 6.3 and ppms are 80. lights on 78 and off 70. res temps are 78. co2 1000ppm
added light guards over vortex sprayers to keep light out of the res.

well all the seeds have germinated now , i had to pull the seed shells of HGK #3 and the Skywalker OG today. the Skywalker is looking good but HGK#3 I think is my retarded daughter. very slow moving. I dropped res temps to 76f and will continue to drop two degrees every day till i get to 68f. ph is stable at 6.3 and ppms are 85. co2 and temps are the same.

well my retarded daughter HGK #3 has been pronouced dead:(

she wasnt quite right from the start. in her place i started a reserva privada Sour kush. this gives us an even split two DNA genetics and two RESERVA PRIVADA. this does present a challange being spread out like this. the Skywalker germinated in four days so hopefully the Sour kush will as well . I imagine the Sour kush will get the least amount of trainning.

bumbed about the set back . but more different flavors could work in my favor:)
