Two Tents By Twox: A Memoir Of A Monthly 8oz Harvest

Og13 by g13 labs... here's all 3 phenos.. One got tore up by the light but it's still smokable... I didn't find what I 2as looking for in this strain so I won't be keeping any of them. One of them stinks like feet and sweat.. Sounds cross but I'm guessing it will smoke good and stink up the block.. I'll get a smoke report on everything once it's dry and we will check out the Floweribg tent tomorrow.. It's full of TrapStars and Slurricanes. The Slurricanes have some potential, Purple Punch x Dosidos... Take that Jelly breath. Lol..

Thanx bud... I'm glade you enjoyed the journal. The first grow was a blast and my excitement for growing hasn't really worn off yet.. I'm still having a blast..

Lol, does it show that much... I'm a ton of fun in real life too, especially when I'm faded... Ya, im that guy..

I sure hope Neptune sells out of those Jelly breaths soon, I'm getting that oh so familiar itch.. seed addiction is actually becoming a problem now, I have no idea how I'm going to save all these genetics....:helpsmilie:

"Seed addiction", haven't heard that one!!!! .. Seems like something I may need to look out for in the future!!

Ya, I'm having the same problem.. I need more veg space.. I might grab a taller 2x4 so I can have a second floor.. lol. Moving up like the Jefferson's. . I'm always worried that these strains will be gone when I want them..

I know that feeling. I want to get a 2x4x5 or 2x4x6. I would actually want a 3x4x5 ideally but I am yet to see any tents that size. I have a veg area that is probably 2.5x4x3 or so but it is not light proof and so I run my veg light 24/0. I think running 24/0 is kinda stressing my plants though and not letting them grow as fast or healthy as they could be. I do not want to run a dark cycle though with it not being light proof because I do not want to have them get light stressed. The shitty thing about all the tents I have found that claim to be 4' wide is that they are all slightly smaller than that and I need to hang my 4 foot T-5 in it which Is actually wider than 4'. Oh well I may just get one and have the light kinda push on the sides to make it work.
 
Panda film and pvc pipe. Make your own tent
 
I have a good amount of panda film and even some pvc pipe I was going to make a second scrog out of. I havent used the first one other than one round though. What would you suggest I use to attach the panda film to the frame? I am not super handy and have considered making tents before but the door has always bugged me. There was a friend of a friend that made all of his tents out of 2x2's and panda film that seemed decent.

Everything is chopped and drying so I wanted to get some pics for everyone. The buds all look really nice and my tub feels really heavy. It takes me about 4 days to dry so my next update on the Urkles will be some dry shots and weghts..

Everything's looking really frosty. I can tell I was getting tired because I see spots I missed while trimming.

I know there still wet but they smell fantastic already. Once they dry and cure for about 2 weeks they start smelling like fruity pebbles.

The trim.

Even the trim smells good and seems really frosty.

I have the trim spread out into 4 boxes to dry. I usually mix the leaves twice a day to promote a even drying. Once the trim is dry I'll freeze it and start the process of making some bubble hash so I can press it into some Rosin.. I use to ISO my hash until I tried the Rosin tech and I'll never go back.. The taste is really amazing with a low temp press.

Scissor hash. This gets pressed into rosin too.. The flavor I get from fresh scissor hash rosin is amazing. I've tried live resin rosin runs before and I prefer dry runs. The yeild seems better and the rosin seems more stable. My live rosin usually comes out really sticky and oily.

A full tub. I'm kinda suprised how heavy she is. definitely hit my 6 oz mark but I'm guessing I'll be closer to 8. If I hit 10 ill be amazed. I still have a Blackberry to chop so I should easily hit my 8oz for the month.

Since my tents are never empty I had to come up with a way to dry all this bud and this was my solution. The tub use a cheese cloth filter and my tents fans to draw the humidty out through a run of 4inch ducting. After 3 days I'll put a solid lid on and let them finish. My buds have turned out great using this technique and I've never had any issues with mold or over drying. Using my tents fan system also keeps the smell contained.

I'm sure I'll have more updates soon but it's time to smoke.. ;)

When you say you're making live resin do you mean like the kind you can smoke out of a pen? And if so how do you go abouts doing it? Nice harvest man

To make it simple I would make the three sides, top and bottom with panda and duct tape. Then I would get a piece of 1" thick foam insulation and wrap it in panda then use neodymium magnets glued to the pvc frame and taped under the panda film to make a door.
 
Oh and TwoX that bud is gorgeous. I love the mix of colors!

I think it's how I am going to do my grow chambers. But I want to do all four sides with the rare earth magnets and foam. It will allow me to pull them off and reach the scrog from any direction.

Would you then have a panda film curtain to wrap around it to keep light out? I would think there would be gaps that may allow leaks in if you have all sides done like that. If I am able to pull of making my veg tent I will add a flap to the door area to drape over it to keep light out when I am not in it and then just roll it up over the top when I need to work with the plants.

My plan was to extent the panda film in flaps off the side of the foam to make "gaskets". I may run an overstrip down the seams to be safe.
 
I've also thought about using panda film to make another tent. The brand I bought leaks light though and is probably to thin. Post some pics if you make one, I would love to see it. Busy day today.. I need to move some plants, cut some clones, water, clean, trim, take pics,press hash, smoke, dream and sleep.. Thanx god those Jelly Breathes sold out... lol

Whats up dude. I make rosin from my bubble hash. It's not like the co2 cartridges from gold drop or 710 king, it's more like dabs. I use a ceramic coil on my pen to smoke it or a dab rig.. after I make bubble hash and dry it I press it in a filter with a straight iron. I was going to buy a press but the hash doesn't need much pressure and I don't press flower...
