Google cat piss strain its actually the name of the strain its all over Seattle

I have heard about cat piss and I have seen a few growers on this site praise the cat piss smelling plants that they grow. I am growing Akorn at the moment and it reeks. Some people cannot stand the smell or taste of it. It smells similar to Sour Diesel or Chemdawg to me. One person that I gave some to told me how they burned some with a friend and the other one comment on how it tasted strongly of chemicals (like liquid nutes). Funny thing is I run Doc's Hi Brix kit and do not use chem nutrients at all. The person I gave it to said it wrecks them but that they want to puke after every hit said it makes them think they are huffing turpentine...

No joke there is a strain out currently the is GARLIC OG KUSH who the fuck would want garlic in the terepene profile

*I have to say that would be me, I must confess reluctantly. I roast garlic with margarine and parsley then take them out of the oven and eat the garlic as a meal. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's something my body craves from a medicinal perspective. Very good for my health. I shit you not.

*Buuut, I actually have Durban Poison and not looking forward to puke and piss. oh man, garlic is edible and my fav scent in the kitchen. Gonna have to unload those DP's for sure. Thanks for the heads up. Big Sigh

I grew Durban Poison a few times and never got those smells. I recall floral and spicey. The only time I got it outside of my grow it was super skunky. So i would grow them out first to see what you get.

I saw on IG that they also got 3rd place in the sativa category. That is pretty bad ass getting 1st and 3rd with the same strain. I have tried some Purple Punch and it was pretty decent. My buddy says the taste and smell are where it is at with the strain and both really are pretty nice. I have found better but still feel it is worth the grow or finding a good cross with it. Yeah they had the Jelly Breath and some OGKB cuts along with some others. It sounds like it would have been an awesome place to be other than getting cooked by the sun there

I thought It was pretty awesome too... JB only popped 60 seeds of Mimosa and got multiple keepers so I think I have a good chance of finding a keeper.

I had synchronization problems trying to grow batches of two (different strains.)
I wouldn't even attempt to synchronize 5 plants.

Thanx for the compliments.. I've never tried entering the photo contest but it's on my to Do list... time is to expensive these days. The young TrapStars are definetly good looking girls, wonderful color in veg.

Hey Twox, I love how you use every inch of that veg area, I totally get it...

Hugs not Bugs: I used to use hydrogen peroxide, just a small cap full into the water feeding early in the veg process. I only did that once per grow and no bugs. Now I don't use it all but I swore by it. No explanation for soil bugs, weird eh.

Also, love the packaging with the cork bottle. Now I'm understanding consistency is everything with genetic brands. Even the jaws logo and t-shirt is bad ass. If I saw someone wearing that I would probably blow shhhmoke their way...lol. Definitely boutique is unique! Tired of dodgy seeds and sketchy seed banks. Have a shhhmokey day!

Thanx G2H, i feel you on the sketchy seed banks. I've tried quite a few US seed banks and have been nothing but happy with every single one.. The few I've tried from overseas where ok too but I love those breeder packs.

Cat piss is an odd one for me. It can go either way. I cannot say that puke or baby shit is at the top of my list of smells I look for I grew out some Incredible Bulk a couple of times and it smelt like hotdogs during flower! It has to be one of the weirdest smells I have come across. My favorite terps are always berry leaning. I grew Widow Berry for a few years and it smelt of blueberries most of the time. The best smell I got from one batch was sour blueberry yogurt. It was fantastic!

I have had a few bags I have gotten that smelt of Pickles and it was never all that great. I love pickles so I would think it would be a good thing. I was never sure if it smelt that way due to curing in a pickle jar or if its the actual strains terps.

Lol, I have a friend that uses pickle jars and his bud smelt like pickles too.. Much better than my neighbors, he dries in his laundry room and his bud smells like fabric softener.. I had to ask him if he was drying his buds in his dryer. I've never been a fan of the cat piss strains.. I don't like that ammonia smell at all. It's been years since I've had anything like that so who knows, I might like it if I grew it. I've also noticed that lemon, lime or sour strains cross really well with berry flavors. I also prefer the sweet flavors, I really want to try one of these orange strains.

I have a mystery auto from CKS about to finish and i catch some pineapple with a hint of coffee and a skunky undertone in the tent. Took a small branch from it a few days ago and it is starting to smell like a decaying tooth as it drys. Not appealing at all... Hope it cures into something better!

I had a friend give me some commercial weed (when that was all you could get other than in the fall) and it smelt like fabric softener as well. We called it Downy dope I did not care for it at all. I always figure dthe pickle smell was from the jars it was cured in/stored in but without knowing for sure I never wanted to say I was positive.

The Mimosa sounds nice but the Clementine has lemon skunk in it and I have had terrible luck with the LS. The Orangade sounds like the best of the three strains I have seen of theirs and then the Cherry Punch.

If you want chem or gassy the Akorn seems to deliver. This is the second pheno I have seen of her and both were loud. A lot of people did not care for it. I like it just not as much as I do fruit/berries. The Akorn is a good fem choice. I have a Huckleberry Diesel from Dynasty Genetics and I am really hoping if it is female that it is ECSD leaning.

The Durban you tried could have very well been the real deal and just a pheno I have not seen. The one I grew was not nearly as good as the skunky one I had gotten from someone else.

Looking at the pre harvest pic, I got a little twang in my heart ... haven't had a nice yellow purple fade for a few weeks... so getting a little jelly for all the beans you're getting and haven't seen ya at the meetings. So yea, time to jump back on the wagon... or not. I'm hanging on to the wagon rails by my pinky fingers and about to take the fall. Wish me luck...

Durban Poison... I'm running keepers from Snow High Devils Tit that has a lot of the Durban in her... fast grower... I've got clones going and they are off the charts fast growers. Good for perpetual and my favorite smoke right now. Gets ya ripped pretty quick ... have to watch my step or face plant. I love that up lifted high and not a huge amount of munchies on the mellowing side.

I just harvested one of my Exotic Labyrinth and I gotta say it's got frost but the dry wt yield isn't going to be there for me. I'm used to close to 4 zip dry ... not going to make it with these but it should be really good! Prolly my fault really. I think I rushed them into flower this round.

So yea bud... all your plants look fantastically healthy and green. So hard to keep up with all the genetics yer running. I got dizzy thinking about it so I just had to sit down and take a puff... ahh that helps!

Now for some seed porn.. where's the seed porn. I need some motivation... errr wait, go to meeting go to meeting, off the wagon. Shit not again!

Devils Tit smells a little more like lemon and has a smooth taste with a lemony after taste when vaping followed by expansion lung... must be careful.

It might mess with spray nozzles. But it worked great. To much Organics will ring the diner bell for them. Molasses is one of their favorite drinks too.. You can keep turning the top inch of soil with a fork and that helps too.

Thanx for the recommendation, I'll have to check it out... Ive used mosquito dunks in the past and it seemed to work well.. ive been using some sns209 and it just works slow. The general organics nutrients I use are full of molasses so me getting gnats makes perfect sense. I still think they are pre loaded into my soil. I won't spray my plants in flower so a soil drench and a fan are my only option.. I harvested last night so I'll be cleaning my tent today and I'll get some fresh pics of everything.

My Twister strain smells of citrus, Nepalese temple hash, and cat piss. Everyone thinks they won't like the smell but end up loving it. The first time I grew it though I thought an animal found its way into the grow and pissed on the plants lmao!

I have a feeling my veg room is going the way yours is. Not height wise but definitely space wise. I killed 13 male seedlings and it didn't even make a noticeable difference.

Crazy how Jellybreath got 1000 in an auction! I was just talking about it because I was cloning today and took 8 cuts of my mendo breath x dosidos I am putting into flower. They were freebies from dank team 4th of July a few years ago. I got one female but haven't flowered her yet...then I realized...mendo breath x dosidos...is Jellybreath!!!!! I'm about to flower Jellybreath!

The light burn looked way worse than it really was under the HPS. Was kinda surprised to find out that the brown color was actually red under regular light. More yellowing than anything.. not bad for being 6 inches from a brand new 600 watt bulb.

Yeah the dank team ran a special on 4th of July last year. I bought 250 worth of seeds and got 33 freebies. Gorilladosha and Jellybreath from Inhouse were some of the freebies. Inhouse freebies are not to be trifled with!

First up, Purple Envy 2, the tall pheno.. super frosty. She got a ton of yellowing on her tops due to being way to close to the light. I thought the resist color was burn marks until I harvested them... pretty plant..

Well, the Blueberry I broke isn't dead yet so that's good. The crusty one still looks crusty and the shorter lighter colored one is probably my happiest Blueberry..

Seems like a pest got into my grow room. Her name is Roxy and she loves eating leaves while my back is turned, she must have snuck in while I wasn't paying attention.

Purple Urkles in early veg. They're growing slow but they are stacking nodes really fast,.... They will hit flower in about 5 and a half weeks

I had a couple Blackberrys out growing the cloning chamber so I cut a couple clones in a attempt to save genetics. I use clean scissors, rapid rooters and clone x... Seems to work well for me since they always root
