Good morning. All seams well this morning. Gaining hight as a great pace, but filling out way faster. Going to be looking into topping these plants today. Will post some pictures to determine exact cut locations later.

Hopefully these went up in order. Do you think these are the right cut locations. and if so i guess there wont be enough stock left, but can the tops be used to clone?

That’s an ok place to top. See the little bit of growth on each side - those each can become an entire plant, after you top you’ll have two branches forked out from those little sprouts. The existing side branches should grow faster and you’ll get a nice even canopy with four or more top nodes.
They’re not getting much vertical height, topping will slow it down even more. If these were mine I’d wait to get more growth, but topping won’t hurt them just slow them so if you want bushier, do it. I’m not sure those cuts will be big enough to root but you can try.
I use rooting hormone and sometimes honey (it’s a fungicide). That promix works fine to root into also.

Wether or not it’s done right, it’s done now.

looking good! you will be amazed what happens even in the next 24 hours. Next time, cut a little higher in that section, up nearer the middle to top as you approach the next node... it will make thing easier later on
I’ll do that, was trying to leave a good bit on the bottom for the clones to have more to go into the peat.

Don’t have a moisturizer neater yet, so I scratched off all the paint on a pencil. Theory is that if I stick it into the soil any moisture that’s in the medium will stick to the pencil and change colour letting me know if the soil is dry or not. It works as far as I can tell. Think I may have to water this evening, only an inch of moisture is detected on my fancy moisture meter.

right before you water give the container a nudge with your toe and see if you can see how light it is. I like the pencil idea... very old school, a dip stick. I used to have a wooden yardstick that I did the same thing with. That last inch will usually show wet due to all the roots clustering down there and the capillary action between them and the sides and bottom of the container, but your toe will know.
