Twnewell's First Grow

I’ve seen a lot of picks. And I’m not sure what to be looking for in person. This is definitely here for trying to figure out the sex, but it’s also for presentation. If not for just myself, for others.

All the same I can’t wait to tell what they are.
I appreciate the input, and please continue to voice your opinion.

Getting bushy now.

Checked on my plants an hour ago. Medium was not dry all the way. I’d say damp at the very bottom would be the best way to discribe it. I’ll put off feeding till the morning. Think I’ll also feed at 1/2 strength nutes again, same as last time. Will post updates when after completeling.

Oh. Almost forgot. I burrowed my mother’s sewing machine today. Thing is from the 80’s but works like a charm, when you know how to use it, and I have learned how to sew 2 pieces of fabric together. We’ll see what I can do when my fabric pot materials show up next week.

Ok that’s it. Will update when I have something new.

Laters

Ok. So feeding/watering went well. 2 - 2.25 L each. Mixed up 11L with the cal/mag, waited for a bit, then added the nutes at 1/2 strength waited a bit the adjusted the ph. Watered slowly around the edge and worked my way to the center as best as I could.

Wondering if I should do a trim on some of the small lower leaves. I’ll post pictures of what I’m talking about later.

There looking good after there watering. The smallest, lower leaves are the ones I’m considering removing. Just the ones that don’t get any light what so ever. Should I take them as close to the stock as possible? If at all?

There is still plenty of time to trim this growth before you get to flower... I wouldnt remove a leaf unless it was blocking something... if the plant senses that these leaves are not getting enough light, she will self prune them. Let the plant make these decision... those lower leaves are not hurting a thing right now.. before you go into flower though, trim anything in the bottom third of the plant that has no chance of reaching the canopy so as to get some great airflow in the center of the plant under the canopy.

I never knew about the self pruning thing. That’s cool. I will do as you suggest.

18 Hours had passed. 6 of was overnight. Growth is amazing.

I had a lot of trouble starting out, using just regular topsoil, not ph-ing my water, over watering and not having a good understanding of the growth process. Then had to totally replant the seedlings in new medium (promix) and try to re-cooperate for lost time. If i had come here first and got some information before hand I'm sure id be in flower long ago.

But let me tell ya now, these plants love the nutes and everything I've been doing now.

Much of this is possible by all you guys and girls helping this know nothing I was.

Thank you all for the help. The progress over the past couple of weeks is all do your help. Have a J and be proud you helped this moron start to have a green thumb.

Again, Thanks.

So my material arrived today ( no light until tomorrow dam it ) so I decided to play. Made 2 fabric pots today and they will work. But look like crap. More time making them and I’m sure they’ll improve. I’ll post a guide when I get better.
