Twnewell's First Grow

Plant 1 is definitely a male. Plants 2 & 3 can't tell. Your grow is coming along nice. Your getting lots of good information here and should have a nice grow.
Keep up the good work.
I'm think the same about 1. I'm not even disappointed. I will be if all 4 turn out to be male but that's the chance you take i guess. like i said, this is only a test grow. Just want to make sure i have the skills and knowledge to grow. Long story short,
It is what it is.

Chances of all being male are pretty slim but it can happen. I like growing feminized seeds. I don't want to put all the time into growing just to find out its a male. I started out buying regular seeds because of the price. Now it's worth the extra to me to know I'm not wasting my time growing males. The down side is feminized seeds have a higher probability of going hermie than a regular seed.

Going to be looking for some recommendations in the future for where to get seeds. I'm from Canada and would like to buy from Canada. High CBD is the goal. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I got mine from Crop King Seeds. Some of my buddies don't like them because they are too commercialized. I can check with them to see what else they are using. I know my one friend says they are a lot cheeper from this other place and you get 10 seeds extra when you spend 100. But my only experience is with Crop King Seeds and I got what I paid for in a timely manner.

It is possible to up pot from a fabric pot? is it an issue because the roots wont wrap around?
To the best of my knowledge up potting can be done in fabric pots. From what i have learnt it is harder to do because the roots try to grow through the fabric and can't but they can still make it harder to get the root ball out. I'm planing on making some of my own fabric pots and will include Velcro on the sides to make it easier to remove them. I will make a post when i get the materials and start the process.

It is possible, but not as easy as just sliding out of a hard sided container... those air pruned roots stick to the sides of the container and make it hard to peel out of there, and I am sure that it causes a bit of shock to damage all of those root tips.

Now I feel silly buying a 10 pack of 1 gallon fabric pots.

That is exactly why i'm going to make open-able pots. I'm thinking it will make the process a lot easier.

Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not, but i think i was keeping my room too cold. max temp would be around 25-26. I increased the temp to 28-29 and they seam to love it. Look to be perkier and reaching up higher. May just because of them being watered hours ago as well, have to make notes and check back on the footage.

Happy New Year to you all.

They are looking to perky.
Good night my pretties.

Happy New year to you all. No hangover Means its going to be a good year, or at least not a bad day.

Plants are doing well, but I noticed something weird. I was going over the footage on the security camera hour by hour and noticed something weird. About 2 hours after lights out the plants started to "stretch" or "reach out" They continued to do this right up until lights on. Only thing i can see causing this is that there looking for the light and trying to find it however they can.

Honestly its to hard to tell. You want to look at the calyxes the little seed looking pods. If the have two little hairs (pistils) growing out of them you have girls. If they have a little stem and are protruding from the node they are males. Do a search lots of good pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.

A lot of new growers mistake the stipules for pistils its a common mistake. I wish I could figure out how to copy and paste so I could show you a good example. Search male vs female and you should find some good examples.
