Man this takes time! Trimmed for 2 hours, about 1/2 done, already have about 3-4 O”s of rock hard bugs. I’ll finish tomorrow. Look at that moldy bud!!!! Never had that happen before and surprised I caught it. it’s the only one I can find but need to get her out and in grove bags asap. These buds are greasy! I’ve got 4 glove fingers cut away that are loaded with tar, need to read how to get that off the glove. There’s at least two grams of kief on the tray, buds are just overloaded with trics.
Good catch on the mold, and I would make sure to get all the buds down to the low 60s humidity-wise before they get stored. And check on them every few days for a week to make sure the spores don't start growing elsewhere.
Stick it in the freezer. Makes it easier to get off.

Thanks Shed.....I've got RH fluctuating between 55%-60% in the dry room now and I'll keep the grove bags burped. That mold! I'll have to dump all the buds out to check her a few times this next week but that sounds kind of fun anyway

Hey everyone, the chop is complete! 4 more hours in there today, I don’t know how you guys trim three and four plants like that. I”m flabbergasted by the yield, at least 9 ounces, two 4oz grove bags stuffed to the gills and another one about 1/3 full of smaller buds from the side shoots. No more mold that I can find but my lord she’s so greasy, would be great press. I’m letting all the sugar dry for a few more days then will shake and shimmy over the mesh to collect what looks like a good haul of kief. I ran out of time to do some good bud shots but here are a few….btw, that herb is excellent!

Thanks shed, all that shake stuff in front of the grove bags are sugar leaves. I’ll let them dry a few more days then drag them across the screen to collect that kief. How do you store kief? Do you need to burp it?

I just stuck it in Tupperware! If it's really dry I don't think you don't need to burp it. Burping is to allow an air exchange for the chlorophyll left in the flowers after drying.

Hey noob, awesome man glad yours is wrapping up what r u growing again? Good call out on the grove bags. I didn’t stuff them all the way full (I said stuffed to the gills so a little exaggerated) so I probably don’t have 9 ounces maybe only seven or eight and there is some room to breathe in thereRight behind you with grove bags, a few more days for early samples and a few more weeks or so for full harvest

Sorry brother, missed a bunch of stuff. Keep that Humidifier going on all the time, especially during the summer time . That mold is from of course is from high RH, I change my drip pan 4 or 5 times a day.
