Tutankharmon - 400HPS - Soil Coco Mix - Grow

where the law is backwards, that place then yep i am, grading mj as class c then taking it back up to class b was wrong.
I wasnt impressed when they did that.

@Light Addict, i remember when that happened a few got deleted, Tsemp was one of them if i remember right,
the strain certainly sounds like a very nice cross and with the background its got then id have to say the est yield is not far off what its telling you.

Also BIG update as I think I fkd my girl up a bit. Lol. You see as I posted earlier I flushed with about 12-14 ltrs of phd water. She was looking yellow before but mainly just on fans around outside and lower down. 4 hours after watering and just before lights off and all the leaves are going even more light in colour. So fed her just before lights off, well an hour before. Gave her a big dose as all I could think was she was starved.
Ill take picsmin morn but she looked well unhappy and yellow.
Any idea? Help needed!

under fed or over watered.

i had problems with the top half of my pot drying out and the bottom staying wet, when the plants got bigger and the roots got bigger i started getting problems, could this be whats happening. over watered plants look the same as under fed plants.

chances are its a feed issue as im sure you would know if its over watered, give it 24 hours and you will notice a difference if its under fed, some strains are very hungry and some struggle to take nutes, the ww x sk i got growing needs more than the stated dose just to keep the leaves a nice green, so slightly bumped that feed up for that plant and not had any problems since,

what size pot she in, mine are lucky if they get 2ltr a week per plant,

are you sure the medium is drying out further down, i flushed and the problem got worse so when i harvested another plant that i knew had dry soil i noticed the bottom 1/4 was really wet and the roots in this section where not doing so good, so now i really let them go dry between watering, not letting them wilt but they easily go 5 days without water and possibly just get less than 2ltr per plant, the big ones might just get 2ltr poured slowly on it once a week,

oh ok, thought you was just using soil on its own, then yep you need to water as often as you have been as it would dry out much quicker,

so im guessing if its drinking lots then its wanting more nutes, you should notice a difference in 24 to 48 hours then from the nutes, leaves that have turned yellow though wont recover but if theirs some green in them then they will pick up, but at least it shouldnt get any worse,

Hi LA :ciao: How much coco is in your mix?

I hope Gert looks better at lights on :)

Hey Rico, she has a small amount of medium really as didn't have much when potting up. So in a 20ltr pot she had a big lyer of stones at bottom to bulk up mass. (Been scalded by Doc bud about that one) no stones again lol. Then she had just one big brick of fibre and soil nicked from rootball of m BV. So reckon about 60% soil 40 cocco. The medium level only fills 2 thirds of pot total lol. At 12 I'll get her out and assess and take pics!

Hey all, were a good bit happier today!:cheesygrinsmiley:
She seems to have responded well to the big feed. She was almost luminous, same as the fans around the side of the plant last night. Now she is getting darker and has gone a little budding nuts He he! Looks like I'm all ok! Just have to seriously keep her food levels high! I reckon double the normal measurements just to keep her ticking over.
As for PH of feed and water, I was told by Fatty to treat a mix of soil and cocco, just like soil, giving the ph at 6.5.
Anyway here are some pics.

Yes you are, OZ :thumb:

Taught you well, Fatty has :)

Lol. Cheers Ric. The gurus on 420 are indeed a plentiful fountain of information and guidance. And I thank you ALL :thanks:

I was thinking about this while I was waking up getting out of bed haha. Wondering if soil with added coco would need possibly a little lower pH.. I used to always pH to 6.5 for soil but from others giving me some insight I raised it to 6.7-.8.. I got some new soil, "Vermifire", and was having some minor issues.. I think I will drop it down to 6.5ish for a week or so to see the reaction.

Im very quiet in your journal LA, but I am watching. Killer training man, I can see another potm entry :surf:
