Tutankhamon & Pineapple Chunk Outdoors In Massachusetts

I've never washed buds , but folks that have, say they will always wash their buds. And trying to tall daughter and boyfriend to wash buds is wasting my time, they'd laugh at me. So the outside plants, I'm not in control of making those decisions. Only when It's time to reup on the supplies, do they need me ! Ha !!
Just watching these outside lassys I can see I'd always wash. There's enough bug poop and wind blown whatnot to choke on. I'm super glad to have the recipe to wash. Kids...go figure. I have 2 grown girls and am happy if they are. Sometimes were not on the same page too. Oh well. I just keep the example going best I can. So the day turned out sunny today. Surprised for the start of fog. Enjoy the rest of it Slowpuffer

Sunny day on the west side !!

But they say they will move them into garage, which is good, but still leaks in places, and i was also told today, that they did find a little bud rot and cut it off, after last rain storm. so my fingers are crossed, that It don't spread. Might rain for two days. Starting tonight ?
We're expecting 1.5 to 2 inches

These are super thin and grey in color, I like the black velvet looking ones.

That looks like the same material but much thinner. I see what you're talking about. I'm going to guess that since roots don't really get close to the sides of the bags with the " root pruning" , at least in my grows, they won't see light anyway. All the plants I've grown in them have had an inch of soil around the edge. Thats 12 or 14. I could still be off but that's my experience.

Good day. Today pineapple chunks doing well. A couple of fans got plucked but not bad for the mildew. Didn't have to take any bud. Every day's important.

The scary part of growing outdoors! When I get my own house I will be doing this just for fun but I'm an indoor guy. A few heavy rains and some uncontrollable weather and things can get out of hand fast.

Your plant is crazy good though. I hope for the best for your finish. May the mold and mildew stay way far away!

Thanks Asesino. Relying on the elements is nerve racking as the tents been shut down for a while so if it fails in the yard we're screwed a little. I'd be forced to go auto, which is ok but not what the doctor ordered. I'm pretty sure we have enough stash to get by so All Good. Bye the way, here comes the rain!

Raining pretty good today. Going to be most of it sooo. Since I'm really ready to get back in the tent I harvested some water for the two barrels in the growroom. They were mostly empty when I put the hose in. I was hoping to improve the height the water got before I had to hand pour buckets for the finale 6 or 8 inches. What I learned today is when water is being supplied to the barrel almost as fast as it's being removed I can fill er up non stop both barrels. I'd say 75 gallons in 20 minutes with a garden hose and slight gravity and the collecting barrel is full again now. c4 and 5 are thanking me for not having to lift the water into the barrels! Not to forget the outdoor ladies. They are taking a bow heavy with rain. Going to get a shake If it stops.

Here ya on rain we got lots coming in day or two here.

Make sure to shake then lightly if you can specially after the rain stops .

Good news temps are dropping and night time lows around 10-16 Celsius here

I got out there and shook my ass off Joe. They were leaning over to the heavy side like crazy. Buds still grow in this though. Amazing. Those temps will keep them going good on your side. And the band played on.

Kingjoe - I've been using a mix of seaweed, egg shells, banana peels and coffee grounds in a brew bucket. Fill (nearly)) with water. Wait a week, then draw off some juice, mix 50/50 w/water. Works pretty well. I mineralize soil, and compost in spring. Everything works pretty well. Always looking for bigger, better, cheaper. Thanks, man.

Sorry to hyjack your thread, stoneotter. ty
