Turbo Bucket's Take On RADDWC: Grow Room Build-Up

Bagseed barb! Alright. Looking good there turbo how they looking coming down the line chop time soon???

It's all in the freezer for extracts. There's a few ounces finishing drying in the tent I was hoping to be able to smoke, nope, still tastes like shit.
So idk trying to get a little excited for the next runs to turn out good again but without actually knowing what the problem is I have no idea how to fix it.

Ugh. Hard to like that post... sorry man. I mean at least the extract is good! Both could suck. Hopefully what ever was causing it, was a fluke? Especially since the smell and looks are definitely where you want em. Do you know any growers in your area? Or can you maybe swing through a couple hydro shops or dispensaries to see if anyone has had this experience?

Yea I mean it's like 6 full gal bags plus a turkey bag of trim so they grew some nugs. I'll still go through the motions with these and see if a cure helps. The only growers I have access to are the ones I've helped get running but they are on different nutes.

I'm going to run a wave of clones on different lines of nutes I'm interested in and pick a winner before to move forward with

Nice! Yeah I mean I've always heard great things about the line your using. I honestly think my nugs also smell and look way better than they taste. Not that they taste bad... but i get way more great smells than I do tastes. It will smell cheese berry, kinda minty and pungents, but tastes like sandalwood. the concentrate its obviously good as well (much more of the smells I can actually taste). maybe that's why so many are set on organics. I am going to try and run some soon. Hopefully, you can find the ticket to get the look smell and taste. Cause that's what were all out here chasing right?!

Yea I hadn't heard much about the KIND line but it's naturally occurring substances on the ingredients so thought I'd be good. Smart money is on me having screwed something up with irrigation/wet dry cycles/compacted medium/salt buildup

Lol yeah when you day it like that, there could really be a lot of factors.... hmm well you could maybe test 2 variables even 2 tents different nutes. I also know some cut some coco into the substrate fight that compression you speak of. I'm sure if anyone can work through it, it's a smart.dude like yourself!

The smell and taste has changing to Dynagro nutes, I really think our nutrients play a big roll in the outcome. I didn't get much smell or taste from AN but it all tasted the same. That's one reason I dropped AN.

Yeah I may have to look around and check some new lines out too. The Remo did pretty well this time but idk about taste

It's possible the taste comparison is irrelevant. I did stop smoking cigarettes in between so lots of things taste different now. I think I had a bad case of "the grass is greener" looking at other folks stuff on here after the first run. I should have left well enough alone. Now I'm not sure if it was beginners luck or what. I don't actually think the soil was compacted but human variables typically fail first.

This puts me back into the mindset that it was just the nutes.
My thought was get a tent full of bagseed Barbie clones (the strain from the first run) split them up between the two Botanicare lines and the dynagrow and see what happens.

That comparison sounds legit. Best way to gauge any differences. Also congrats on kicking the stogies! That could definitely play a role in your taste, but if the wife and friend confirmed it, it may be worth trying to find that sweet spot again

Thanks bud!
I want to change from pro mix, there's just not enough water available to the plants in it without getting moss n junk on top. I need to go look at Coloradokids work with Coco n hibrix and see if there is anything to that.
