Turbo Bucket's Take On RADDWC: Grow Room Build-Up

Found an interesting set of videos on the tube by a guy called "Farmer Tyler" talks about photomorphogenesis. With all the talk of white LEDs replacing colored and multi band lights I think this practice sheds some light on what we as indoor growers are leaving behind before we have fully exploited it. The video series is sponsored by hydro farm so you have to deal with some product plugs but there's some good knowledge there. Helped verify my plans for the future of this build. A tunable spectrum is invaluable for anyone that wants to fully control plant growth characteristics.

Looking good from here Turbo!!

I'll take a gander at the video too...thanks for the information.:thumb:

I was just watching him. Very interesting.

Looking excellent Turbo.
You got all the vent work going on that I should have done at first when money was available.
Good thing where I work is a nationwide HVAC company and home depot installers so I will be able to get some help getting things right.
I originally had my room somewhat sealed for pet hair/bugs but humidity had to open door lights out, I do have a screen up and fan blowing out but it used to blow inward.
Proper ventilation, cleanings are easier more peice of mind, less cooling cost... Great work.
Now on the fusion lights pardon my ignorance I've been in the breeding and pests pages, did I miss another light change or are they QBs?

Since I'm on the topic today. I found a company solacure, that produce some very nice UV lights, I'll be looking to incorporate these for EoP.
originally and for the last year I've been trying to get at least a little bit of cash together for a flood and drain table.

however many of these strains I've been working with, I prefer taller OG strains may need to put that money toward a chiller. Dwc was always the preference is just to scary keeping temps in line. 70ish

I run my dwc cloner all the time without any problems up to 75 with Z7, would that hold through flower in a bridge KW garden likely not. I guess once I get the main central air fixed we'll see how difficult it is to keep temps in line it might not be nearly as bad. AC doesn't work at all now we running the home on window shakers

Thank for stopping in Pheno. Hopefully all this pans out the way it should. Haha. Yup
the fusion boards are similar to the QBs same samsung diodes, Different panel manufacturer, these are made out in Oregon. The design is actually a little bit suspect so I'm looking forward to seeing how they hold up, so far so good though.

I started in pro-mix and really wanted to go towards hydro but I like some of these SIP systems I've seen lately. Nice and simple and producing great results.

Doing great work as always turbo! Congrats on the financial bump from your clients, that’s a heartfelt contribution. Keep it up brother, can you abandon that register and just add one lower in the wall? It would be cool to have alternating dampers and have the duct work setup that you just change the airflow destination. as you lower your light it moves down to the next register? Just spit ballin

Negative, the duct stops there. Haha. There are a few runs of wiring in the back wall that feed the adjacent room. I could drop the other three kind of... But it would be a waste without dropping the back as well.

What I have considered doing: go to a passive intake instead of a make-up air. Let it pull in underneath the floor, but then I lose some control on how much pressure the room does or doesn't maintain. Just a trade off at this point do I make it better for this run? Or ride it out half cooked and hope it comes together before the finish line. Haha.

Thanks definitely a labor of love haha.

Buckets are up and running again. Here's the first residents.
