Tryan2grow1 Second Time Grow - Autos In DWC With Mars-Hydro LED

72 Days ago these plants were mere seeds. The Northern Light has been a rapid producer of buds. The Blue Mystic is taking many more weeks to achieve maturity. It will be a double good day when the NL gets harvested for the BM will have more room and meds will get to drying and curing.

Enjoy. Thanks to all for looking in on these babies.

Just a few shots tonight. The Northern Light is fattening up nicely. And the Blue Mystic is just a plain ole fat plant.

A group shot

Enjoy the photos team. Per usual our community is the greatest. Thank you to everyone for following along in these ladies journey to become great meds. May all have a great one!

Tryan2grow1 Second Time Grow - Autos In DWC

Next up is the close to harvest Northern Light. Perhaps a flush next week and a chop. The buds are continuing to fatten up. There are a few amber trichomes at this stage. Next week will probably be it for growing. Time for a cut, dry, and cure. Besides the Blue Mystic could use the room.

It is official.....the Northern Light is under flush. She'll be coming down tomorrow. And not a moment too soon for the Blue Mystic will rapidly accommodate the extra space. Her are the ladies in all their buddingness.

The Blue Mystic has been tucked into her solo tent tonight. She has been opened up like an umbrella. The tallest tops were tied down and pulled away from the light. The canopy is mostly even all around. This lady still has an estimated 4 weeks remaining before harvest. She is finally just starting to frost up with trichomes. Saturday will be another res change. This one single plant is covering 5.49sqft of floor space. This by far is larger than either of the two plants on my first grow and much larger than the Northern Light she was germinated with. Even though this Blue Mystic is an "auto" that will take the time of a photo until harvest, she has been a delight to cultivate. We shall see if any blues come out in the following weeks. The temp difference between lights on and off is about 10 degrees. That should be enough to trigger some color late in bloom. As advertised by the seed bank this plant has a neutral odor up to this time. This plant appears happy, making this farmer happy too. Green thumbs all around team.

A pure guesstamation on the dry weight of the Northern Light is 69 grams. Three hangars worth are hanging to dry along with a few "sample" nuggets drying solo. This plant could have been allowed to mature a bit longer. The decision to harvest her was two fold. First off, I wanted a bit different kind of a buzz from mostly cloudy, less amber trichomes. My first grow was allowed to mature to full blown couch lock with mature amber trichs. This plant was to be harvested much earlier from the get go. So as I look at her through the microscope, the forecast shows mostly cloudy with an amber trichome here and there only. Secondarily, the space was needed to mature the Blue Mystic. The timing was perfect on both fronts. Anything over an ounce from such a small plant will make me very happy and it looks like that amount will be surpassed indeed. Not bad for 79 days from seed to harvest. May this Northern Light turn out to be as smokeable as she has been growable. PS. She smells awesome.....can't wait to have some cured.

My Train Wreck - the one I just took 40 something clones from, it's drinking several liters every day. It has the biggest root-ball I have ever seen, filling almost the entire reservoir. Curios how much something like that can yield in DWC

Each res tonight reflects being dialed in with a falling water level, falling ppm and a static ph level. The BM is drinking twice as much water as the NL. The original res this week has 1/4 nutes. The top off water has been made with 1/2 strength nutes. The trend has shown that both these plants like the nute level to be between the 1/4 and 1/2. This did raise the ppm on each res by about 50 points. Looking good! Thank you for looking in.
