My grow is also probably going to be a staggered harvest. I'm growing a Photoperiod so different from an Auto but I am coming close to the max estimate - I'm sure I'll be going longer by their slowness to amber up.

I personally have tried both I like 18/6 Bc the yields are basically the same not enough difference for the 6 hours of extra electric. I personally stager my lights on and off times for different times so my load isn't that heavy and now I am putting back up the 1000w hps so idk I am pulling down a mars Hydro 192 so that 480 at the wall and I'll dim my ballest to as low as possible so I will hopefully be ok temps are right on plus it's air cooled anyways but it's always better one goes off one goes on now I know at some point they will run at the same time so my goal is always my 315LEC AND LED ON SAMETIME MORE THAN HPS but 4 tents and all equipment it's hard to not overload or get a 400.00 bucks electric bill

Did you do a light hack on those mars Hydro Bc they are blurple ? Mine all look like this

There are a couple of cfls that are in the tent to use for real light photos. I turn the led off for photo shoots the majority of the time. Burple shots every now and then with a great flash are cool too. But most photo shoots are with cfls not the led.

There is no such thing as stupid questions knowledge is power so I READ A LOT a guy named light addict has a tutorial on here about it I am not sure but I believe he created the technique he also started the main line technique or flux whatever you want to call it, you SNIP a tip of each cola and it makes the plant think no more growing in that direction so she swells just to break it down in easy way of saying it

No I def agree I have so many blurple shots between 4 Led I have that I should do the same I usually check for problems during Lights off but of course snap a pic also I love sleeping plants I have more photo than auto so everything is light sensitive

Thank you Scoooter. The Blue Mystic is perhaps over her stretch, now on to making flowers. The Northern Light is starting to get to the bud porn stage. Those bud shots one always sees in the old weed magazine stage. Just these pics are taken by my hand of my hand raised plants. That always give me a Cheshire Cat Grin. Starting from ear to ear until invisible......ok the last bong hit was a doozie.....lol. Thanks to all for looking in.
 
Amazing, there are amber trichomes on the NL. Harvest of part of this plant is mere days away. Went with mostly amber on the first grow, going to pick a bit earlier this time. Here are two photos.
