Troy's 2nd - Autos - DP Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle, RQS Diesel

Lowded - I agree that it is nice to be able to have control of how you want your meds. I definitely am into a long lasting couch lock.

Me too....but I want to grow sativas, indicas and hybrids....... I want it ALL.

Shouldn't be asking too much since I'm the gardener. :D

Dude agreed I like a minimum of 4 strains at my disposal. Its so nice to change up a strain week to week. Flavor, med and well variety is the spice of life!! I'm mostly rockin hyb and indica. I ordered some lemon Haze and wow would a good sativa rock helped my back pain going to try a few more before deciding which tree to buy.
Nice things with all the weed available now with the legal medical access. I can test out many strains in way less time than growing out lol. It's def not "just weed" to me it never was.

I've got a good supply of Sativa and Sativa / Indica blend. My next grow is mostly going to be Indica and 1 or 2 White Widow CBC Autos. I had some good Kush just before my last harvest and my spouse really likes it ..... so I will be trying to replicate it.

I agree... it is really nice to be able to grow a variety. I'm amazed at how different each strain can be.

Back in my days you would just get bag grass which was probably 3/4 leaf and 1/4 bud. I guess that's how they could sell nickel and dime bags. I would guess most of what I got was sativa as it was always a heady high.

I'm at it again - My new COB's arrived yesterday and I've been out getting the parts I needed today.

This is going to be an experiment on putting one COB over each of four plants and pull my two LED's out of the tent.

This time I bought 4 passive heat sinks, 4 COB'S, 4 Cob Holders and 4 Angeline reflectors as well as a driver. The drive I got this time can handle between 2-4 COBS.

This time I bought some small D-Hook (picture hangers) and screwed them to the mounting holes in the heat sink. From this I connected a loop of stainless steel cable to be used as a hanger.

This gives an idea of what each of the Single COB Lights will look like. I'll be suspending them from the top of the tent using the regular ratchet light hangers.

Tomorrow I will be finishing it off. I'm waiting for a Voltage, Watt and Amp meter to wire into the system.

Yea i love a variety too.. i have 15 plants going and 12 different strains. Have to stop myself from planting more lol. The ladies are looking great.. dee is getting big quick! :goodjob::yummy:

And my wife calls me "obsessive"

You don't know how right your are... The main reason to swap out my lights was to reduce my electric consumption.
But if we're being honest I'm having a ball learning about COB's The light they put out blows me away ...:drool:

Wow those new cobs look really nice man.. lets see em in action!

To be honest i split up with my wife last year and the plants didnt help with our relationship when i started. But it was the best decision i ever made i feel.:yummy:

Tomorrow I should be firing them up. I'm thinking of moving the fixture with 5 Cobs in the middle of the tent over Olga and Dee and but the singles over the smaller plants.

I told someone earlier on a thread that I have cobb envy........

I just started, and purchased a 1200w LED, but still want a cobb now.

And where are you buying kits/parts from?

I've been getting my supplies from Rapid LED- They usually ship within an hour of when I place an order. Prices are really good and the staff go out of their way to help.

She’ll be bustin out pistols soon enough if you’ve started the bloom nutes
She’ll be a producer by the looks of her

It will be interesting to see how they do next week. I'm flying to Vancouver on Monday and won't be back until Thursday evening. I almost want to put one of my security cameras in the tent so I can check on them while away. I've been using the auto watering system to make sure it is functional.

I wired up the new COBS this morning and installed them in the tent. I think I'm going to like them. Especially interested in seeing how the heat is as opposed to the LED's

I moved my 2x4 COB to the center over Olga and Dee they are the ones in the middle. Finding that putting the drivers outside the tent was a good idea. The drivers are sitting at about 37C or 98F.

Yep, I definitely have cobb envy.....

Looking good from here.... :thumb:

It will be interesting to see when I'm able to do some defoliation and lollipopping. Dee is only about 6 1/2 inches tall so far hopefully she will do some rapid stretching.

If you feel she's strong enough and healthy as she looks like, you can start but go gently and not to much at the same time. Do it within multiple days so that she doesn't stretch too much :Namaste:
