TRD Grows Carnival, Mango, Bubblegum & DC

Rocket boosters set....prepare for ignition start...
I hope you are ready for some rocketing growth! Looking good bud.

:passitleft:

Thanks Nis! I don't know what it is but since I've been out of the game for a minute, I've been second guessing myself. I just need to let go and let the kit do it's thing. They are about to fly, my friend.

Mornin Noob....ready for another show....yeepa , yeepa !:thumb::high-five:

I hope I don't disappoint this time Duggs. Im trying to plan ahead but with 4 different strains it's hard. I think I'm growing one strain at a time like you in the future. Easier to control.

Thanks Nis :passitleft:

Beautiful RedDragon. They're gonna explode on you. :laughtwo: You sure you have enough room in there? I see the garden entities are keeping watch. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I have enough room until they go to flower. Then they are going in the 4x4. I can't believe how much this cheapo LED is pushing these girls. Glad I made the switch.

Cheers everyone

Hey Noob,...ya , know what ya mean. Sometimes growing more than one strain under the same lights ,..in the same tent is a bit too much messin around ...better to try one or maybe just two , like your first grow....remember that one!!!!!:tokin:...:thumb::thumb::thumb:
Have a great night Noob and friends! :high-five:

Live and learn brotha. I'll still end up with some bomb ass smoke.

Cheers Duggs

Looks like it's time for another UPDATE

It's been a busy week and an even busier weekend so far. I need to give these girls a brix spray tomorrow. They look hungry. It's hard to dunk these plants once they get transplanted into the 7s. So, I top water and I also water from the bottom, in that I water from the top until it's coming out the bottom and then I leave that to be taken up from the bottom. I know it's not ideal. But, it gets the job done. The bubblegum seems to be on a different schedule than the others. The leaves are all smaller on her too. I will have to keep am eye on her. I topped 3 of the girls again this week. Everythijng but the DC

On to the pictures.....

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend

Good morning and Happy Easter Noob!:)
OK, yes, you can give WayX10 all thru but your plants do not need that or the OG Drench! They look perfect! I would not treat these special ....just yet Ok. They look very , very healthy...NO NEED for the OG Drench OK! keep treating these plants AS YOU ARE. Your doing a great job, no special treatment necessary! Have a great day with your family ! Cheers.

So when does one use the WA, and is it even necessary? Here we have a situation where everyone uses it differently, and then we're told they might not need it anyway. What signs would be showing that it was called for? My understanding was that it was just to be used on some sort of schedule, so this was the first I heard of possibly skipping it.

Can anyone clarify just exactly what we're supposed to be doing with the WA?

That's what I was waiting for. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart: I wish I could send you a rooted cutting of the sativa pheno I have running in the closet right now. I think you'd love to grow this.

They look marvelous. I still don't have the courage to do all that topping you do. :laughtwo: Keep after me, I'll start to catch on in time. It'd be nice to get your yields.

OK,...with the Wayx10....It was designed to help plants (frankenstrains) get thru the mid /late bloom periods without showing any signs of Mg. or micro-nutrient deficiencies. If plants are growing well, are healthy and are showing no signs of any deficiencies ,..it's NOT needed. The OG Drench was designed for the same reason , to give the 'salt lovers' a bit of help getting thru mid/late bloom OK. With Doc's new formulas for Transplant and G.E. we will need these special ingredients even less as the newer formulas have successfuly addressed these mid/late bloom scenarios. So to recap,...if your growing plants that are thriving and appear to be healthy...don't 'over think' things , just leave them be and follow original directions . Cheers SS and BTW Happy Easter to you and your family.:)

Thank you Duggan. That was pretty informative. "Frankenstein" strains...... that pretty much covers most of what we grow these days. The genetics are getting completely spread out all over. Alright, if I'm growing healthy plants that don't show deficiency, leave well enough alone. That's kinda what I did with the Dark Devils this time. They look good, so I passed on the Recharge, figuring with the accelerated timelines it made more sense to add the amendment to the cooking soil between runs. I'm trying to avoid the situation I just left behind where the soil was overloaded.

It's easier when you run as a group, start-to-finish like you do Duggan. Managing soil in a perpetual has its own challenges.

Happy Easter to you, the boys, and Marylin too. Stay blissfully high as much as you can.

For what it's worth, I use wayahead every time I use brix. Veg and flower. I believe others do the same.

Thanks for the knowledge Neiko. I will start using it today.

Good morning and Happy Easter Noob!:)

Thanks buddy. I just want to know when to use the OG. Good thing I don't need it yet. Maybe I won't ever need it. Lol

Topping is just another way to control your plants height. It's not very hard. I just take the tops that are taller. Your plant will catch the other tops up with the one you just cut and bam, you have an even bush that will give you give ads buds everywhere. You can do it Sue!

Thanks for checking it out
Cheers

Bottom line: People do what they want.

....
I use WayAhead twice during bloom, right after the Cat Drenches, usually. I add 1/4 ounce of WA to 1 ounce Brix and pretend I'm just doing a routine Brix spray.

A little bit goes a long way! The new formulas on drenches are designed to reflect the fact that most people are growing mongrels and frankenstrains....so instead of having special products for what most people are growing.....now the "normal" products are designed for frankenstrains and the Landrace folks can get the old formulas if needed....although I'm not sure they are needed just yet.

I always share what I do, post pictures of how it turns out, etc. People are free to experiment with things they way they want!

The biggest difference I see between what I do and what others do is that most folks seem to use soft pots, while I've always used black plastic. I also do zero LST, fluxing, fimming etc. I top and prune.

The basic rhythm of High Brix growing remains the same, but we each play the tune with a lot of local flavor.

The only thing I'd say is that for people who want to really master it, learn how to use the products as intended first, and get a feel for what they do. Then go out and try crazy stuff.
