Omg! Today has been filled with decadence, disaster, disappointment and delight! Started great…

Decadence: my bestie and I went for a half day spa. Massage, facial, spa, lunch. It’s a beautiful spot in the hinterland. You are surrounded by rainforest.

Disaster: Anyhoo, it’s going great, relaxed as fuck and while I’m getting the facial I’m thinking “this stings”, but I stay mute coz I know sectet women’s business can hurt. Like really hurt. It gets to a point where my face feels like it’s burning off. I stay mute. Must be really working, I think to myself. So we get in the spa and my gf is like “Tra your face is red..” I tell her it stings too. Omg by the time lunch has finished my eyes are like piss holes in the snow! I had a full allergic reaction to the products. Like not full anaphylactic lol. Just skin irritation, I look like the elephant man, but worse.

So I go from the resort to the chemist to buy antihistamines and my photo lab messages me saying my loot is ready. I have been slowly getting my pics from the cloud and into albums. I’ve put work in. Made snazzy front pages. It started with a front page for an album I made that is filled with a zoo outing and pics of my son, me and my grandsons. That had 3 lines The Zoo #MySurname 2024. And I just edited that for each album. I created 6 albums. Pics from 2022, 2023, my road trip with my man from July, a birthday album, and two others I’ve already forgotten.

Disappointment: so I’m guessing because I kept editing the front page and saving the file, the photoshop works on files, coz every fucking album has The Zoo #MySurname 2024 FML. $350 in albums with fucked up front covers. I’m gonna have to shitty arsed craft them or something. I’m so mad at me.

But to end on a high.

Delight: I had some wall art printed. I just love it. It’s my grandsons and me. Ride or die took it. I really really love it. Look he’s probs not gonna be happy with my nailing when he gets home.

My man says nailing nails in the wall to hang pictures is a big no. Do I listen? Also a big no LOLLING!

I just love it

But back to Humpday updates. I think I might actually love coco. Still no real disaster. Early days I know. They all stayed in today.

It was such a great day too. Oliver had his first train ride. My man dropped us at the train station, and he and Alfred drove and met us at a station 4 stops away, just so he could really enjoy the experience.

I have a pic of him in the platform and omg his face is so excited! He basically had the same look of glee Joe Jungle has when he sees a sheep. Lolling!

Kk, I know my craft followers are frothing for this update! FROTHING I TELLS YA! Operation: Saving Private Front Covers, was a bit of a success! I started thinking, the only people who ever see your private photos outside you are people you know. People you love. People who you want to show your life too. It doesn’t matter if they’re a bit shit. They are mine and filled with my biggest loves and some of my best memories.

This pic was made for you guys. I’m not sure if I ever posted it tho. I think it was one of the first joints I’d ever toked on since getting clean. I had such fear that I would run back to the addictions I fought and won. I didn’t. And I still remember lolling so hard that night. Like proper giggly hot mess. It was defs one of my best nights of 2022.

But back to my painting. Omg I tried to paint the numbers and words, looked so shit! I couldn’t save two, they will be forever eyesores. I had an idea! I got my black cardboard, scissors and glue involved lol! I made a stencil. Then had to make another stencil coz it needed to be back to front to glue on the right way.

Prepare to be dazzZzzled!

And back to growing.

Kids and trains are a big hit! I fixed trains for a living and got to bring my kids, nieces and nephews into the repair facility. Their faces when I brought them onto cars half apart raised on lifts being repaired were priceless!

Have you ever group chatted and got cyber wasted?

Coz I was yesterday years old first time I group did it. Well two of us did lol. The other was on a morphine pump.

How’s this for awful. The girl I have known longest in this world has been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer, she fought it for 4 years and it’s metastasised. We have a convoluted back story. My dad, her mum. Her mum hated me and my brothers. We weren’t allowed to sleep in the house and other abuse blah blah. Well she’s fucked. Not the mother, the daughter who is a year older than me. She has weeks. So I reached out to her:-

She responded straight away, which I appreciated given everything she has going on.

We both have a mutual love who we both stayed in touch with over the years. The mutual love was the one who messaged me. And she was doing what I was doing ie having a delicious night alone till it resulted in a three way lol. It ended up being a night the 3 of us will never forget. Well I can’t speak for all lol but one of us (me) won’t forget. Teaching the mutual love to draw back was sooooo funny!

I’m organising to see her next week with my son. She helped me out when he was small. I got evicted and I needed somewhere safe for him while I hustled to find a place. I rang my son last night. He remembers her and wants to say goodbye too.

She will die in the next few weeks. If you haven’t been given a death sentence, live your next days like you want it. Coz for now you get to. And she has a diseased bounty on her head and she’d give anything to live.

Live today like you’re outta options. For me, I’m gonna nurse every patient like they’re my Tan... despite this hangover lol

Omg it’s the day before the nightshift. It’s 0627 here and I’m bouncing into it. I have the prospect of a delicious day to myself and I have a job list brewing. I need to uppot coz that coco is making my veg growth rate fucking mental. I think I’m gonna need to flip Loopy. Shes just too big, but I have no room in the Bloom Room. I’m worried I’m gonna drive my successful winter time perpetual into my summertime ditch. With the warmth and sun, the growth has powered.
