Trala’s Tent

:happy-birthday::woohoo:

12/12 is an awesome thing every time!

:green_heart::high-five:
I get so nervous. I always think they are too little to be moving from the baby tent.

Do you class day 1 of flower from the point you go 12:12 or when you see your first hairs?

I am documenting and I don’t want to get my days of flower wrong.

I‘m trying to go pro, not street corner $2 crack whore pro... more Pretty Woman pro, like bad girl come good. It not gonna be easy that’s fo sho lollllinggggg

they are really good survivors and should be nice and supple to work with too. They do look nice and malleable still. She bending alone is only a temp disruption to her plan so she will just wait and grow past the issue , such as a tie , or peg . With the supercrop, the damage we intentionally inflict is to slow her down while also allowing us to place her where we want it to be . With the thumb and forefinger method , we can feel the tissue slowly breaking down as we roll and apply the pressure. As we donit the weight above the point chosen , will start to flop over as the stem loses its strength. You can decide as it falls , how much you need to angle it to lose the height. As it repairs the damage and re-strengthens the stem , it will still feed the top past the damage and the knot will begin to form too. This is the gentle way , if a stem is more woody and cannot be pulped , a more aggressive pinch to flatten the stem and a carefully angled 90° bend is applied. This can be where damage and a snap happens but as long as you have some tape handy to repair the break and keep air out , it will still achieve our objective. Rhe knows on older limbs make big chunky looking knots but softer stems have a more aesthetic look and only tend to redirect until the repair is done then they shoot upwards again like the ones I did . If it comes to it , there is nonissue with keeping ties in place until harvest too. Just a little harder to water is all.
Remember the plant I put outside when I ran out of room? Kate Bush? It was back in my Minxie &
Trixie Grand grow. Omg A that feels like a zillion years ago, anyway I supercropped her and the bending cracking process literally gave me anxiety. It just felt so wrong. I read somewhere in here that people hammer nails into stems and I felt faint and clutched my pearls just reading it.

It’s not a technique that is for me I don’t think. I’m not yield driven, it’s about how I treat the the plant for me. I get unhealthily attached to them - seriously mental I know. I initially bought a SCROG net, and the thought of them tangled up like a trapped cheetah in a hunters net I just couldn’t do it.

I see others using them and using them well, it’s just not for me. Oiii if you or anyone wants a scrog net I’d be happy to post mine to you.

It is a technique that works for you and works beautifully. Thanks for taking the time to step by step share your knowledge and with pictures to boot. I’m super lucky I’ve got the best mentors ever!

PS how’s the baby coming along?

she is going to have a lot of beautiful mains. seeing the weights working so well too.
Thank you G!

I feel quite pleased with them. The colour of these plants is so beautiful. Both very different shades of green but good greens if you know what I mean.

That took me a while to catch up on. Totally skived off for an hour at work  Congrats on the harvest. Looks delicious. Well done getting to grips with the quadlining too. They look spot on and now you've done it once there will be no stopping you. I'm looking forward to seeing them stretch. :cheer: Got my pom poms out for ya.
Hello :)

Sounds like me on nightshift.

It was my best harvest to date, not yield wise, quality wise. It’s still curing, I am having trouble getting the humidity under 69%. I’m burping daily. I’m worried about mould, but on the other hand I’m worried about it getting too dry, which is the problem I usually have. I have those B sachets but I want to learn to cure without them. I’d appreciate any tips if you have them.

I love the straight lines of quadlining, a skill which I’ve not yet mastered. Justin in here’s plants arms are as straight as a ruler! Adding my CarhooksTM has been a game changer. Have you seen them? Carcass taught me how to do it. Makes for the fittest looking plant.

I tend to drop the ball at flower. I am determined to get it right this time.

Thank you! You shake those Pom Poms!

I'm caught up, too! Hey hey hey...what's that neat little galley room you grow in? With the long counter and tile walls? I like that.
Hello Ladybird

Caught up on my comedy of errors and skull fuckery aye?

That room was a fucking eye sore. It looked like who ever built it laid the concrete by just shovelling it in no leveling, and it had this metal scaffolding looking ugly shelves from floor to ceiling. It was a garden shed of sorts. It was both attached to the house but external to the house until my partner cut a door frame in and built another garage coz if you listen to him man can not have too many mancave options but I digress.,,,

It’s prolly 15 meters x 1.5 metres, omg I don’t know measurements, I’ll get back to you on that. We had some tiles, and bought an old kitchen for $50 off Gumtree. We leveled the floor (I say we, I barked orders he levelled), laid tiles and attached the kitchen bench to make it usable. It was his work room, but I slowly took it over. It is now considered my room. I have dark proofed it to the point it is black as black in there.

It is where I both flower and cure. My veg tent is in my garage.

Afraid I can't offer much advice there as it's still something I'm trying to get better at. It's an art. I use boveda packs to make life easier for myself. Once they're dry enough to jar I pop one or two in with the buds and then burp and shake daily for a couple of weeks. Don't even check the RH in the jar. So yeah, maybe not the best person to ask. Seems to work okay but I feel it could be better.
Have you seen them?
I have indeed. Mr C took me under his wing when I first joined. Among others. Learnt a lot from him. I started growing in a tiny cabinet so we shared similar challenges which was fun. I manage with pipe cleaners, garden wire and clips though.
I am determined to get it right this time.
Well you will then. :thumb:

I go from when I see the first hairs!
Approx 7-10 Days after 12/12.
Thank you.

I think that’s what I’ve always based my flowering on.

Oiii @Carcass

Firstly, good evening :)

Im just fiddling about with my girls before bed and I just want to make sure of two things.

1. I am still CARHOOKING TM and rock hanging to guide my outside branches out to make room in the middle, that’s correct aye? I am seeing distinct bending, like a supercrop bend but gentle

2. Even though Ive started the flower light schedule, I’m still feeding the veg 2.25/2L aye? I don’t start the 2.5/2L until flower like see the hairs. I’m 96% sure I’m doing it right, I think I just need reassurance.

If I was to listen to my plants I would say this feed schedule is on point and I base this on two things, their shade of green is just exquisite and the other thing is I am seeing remarkable growth from them every day. I have never grown plants this beautiful and I just want to do my best to do them justice,

Seeds shape so much better than clones. That symmetry makes my heart soar.

PS how’s the baby coming along?
Big puff.lol. it isnt just a yield thing , it helps airflow , room limits etc.. maybe one day. ?.

Baby is engaging but loosely and not actually in the canal yet. he is happy bobbing around kicking mums bladder and ribs. She is ready now and had enough being rotund , especially now the heat is arriving here !!. poor lady. Had midwife round from home birthing team and all good for a home birth as long as its on a day when enough community midwives are on !!!!. crap nhs working wonders for us .lol . fingers are crossed now for a sooner rather than later arrival. Kids are climbing the walls too now amd want to see him. lol

I do both- I keep track of flip day , and then when I spot first flowers, like "Flipped 14 days ago, first flowers 4 days ago"
I’m 96% sure I’m doing it right, I think I just need reassurance.
I'm 100% sure you're doing it right!
Be prepared though, for when they start stretching- you may or may not lose the
nice, even canopy- that's when supercropping would come in to play, if you were to go that route...

Good morning Vet

Indeed it is. Humidity is such an issue here. I’ve been doing that :)

Carcass proves not all superhero’s wear capes, some pack bongs and have butt ugly grow boxes.

If I don’t it won’t be through lack of trying.

Maybe.

I never say never... except when it comes to anal. Firm no.

LOLLINGGGGG

I will be thinking of her. I am sending easy birth vibes.

Ok, I’ll do the same.

I really don’t want to crack her stems if I can avoid it. I don’t like how those knuckles look. I know as a grower I’m meant to, but I just don’t. I’ll keep an open mind.

They are both really bushy. I’ll get some pics on Sunday. It’s pouring with rain here and I don’t know whether to keep them in the dark room with the light on or put them outside for a good wash. What do you think?

I'd leave them inside with the light on- If it's raining that hard, there's probably not much usable sunlight out there anyway....

Good morning C Side :)

Then that’s exactly what I’ll do.

I have a light coming. By next week lack of light on a rainy day will be a problem of the past. I will hold the rays of a false sun in the palm of my hand, well not literally, that line sort of typed itself LOLLINGGG

Ok it’s past my bedtime so I will be brief.

On that other thing Tra I will take a bite…. excluding the trademarks - what are the differences between carhooking and regular streetcornerhooking??

Hope all goes well for you GGD!
About $5.
