Trala’s Tent

Okay, I will. I actually have humps, should I go add a hook now?
If you've got the hooks handy, you might as well- They're more important when the branch gets a little longer, but you might as well get them started early so you get used to adjusting them too...
So not quite horizontal?
Yes, just a smidge "uphill" from the stalk to the end of the branch.

Ok I’ll do it now.

:)

Looks like it might make it...it may take a while, with having to re-veg and all.
Hopefully, It's doing all it's growing underground right now...

Better C-Weed?

I took the hook off the top one coz it’s probably doing just that ie a smidge above horizontal.

Now just put a hook on it to hold it there, or it'll stand back up.
Looking good so far!

Hey,Trala- Here's something you'll need to do pretty soon-
As the branches grow, there's a few leaves you'll need to remove to make sure the new growth
gets plenty of light- some of the branches will have leaves growing on the topside of the branch, and
these leaves will do a great job of blocking the light from getting to the nodes (new branches) under them...
so, these leaves will need to be removed for optimum growth of those new branches.
Here's a couple pics to show you what I mean:
3 nodes blocked.jpg

There will only be about 4 leaves at a time that need to go, so it's not like you're defoliating anything, you're just opening the plant up a little so the light can get where it needs to go- this small step will make a huge difference on how the plant grows, and how many budsites you end up with...

3 nodes un-blocked.jpg

You may or may not have to do this right now, but you will within a few days- I usually remove them when they're small, so they don't get a chance to block anything...

So there ya go!:goodluck:

Good morning C Horse :)

I will get your assistance with this if you don’t mind. I sort of understand what you are saying. I super excited about the symmetry when it comes to training my plants. I always seem to pull them down too much tho aye.

I will get some pics of the tops today.

Ok so plant lice idea. The sticky pads lose their sticky and it’s a nuisance of a job to restuck tbh. The sticky only lasts 10 - 14 days, so it’s costly too.

I saw this spray yesterday. It is a barrier spray. States it kills up to 12 months.

I thought I could spray water catcher or what ever they are called, place another water catcher to ensure poison does not come in contact with plant then place in plant.

What do you reckon?

It seems like that should work pretty well- that stuff is ok to use on vegetable crops, so it should be ok to use around cannabis.

I'm not sure how it'll do for the "flyers", but it should take the "crawlers" out before they reach the plant...

Hows that finger doing, Trala?

Good morning Carcass

I closely inspected my sticky pads and they were LOADED with lice. I will still treat the plants, I have found a good spray. It’s cheap as chips too. Its freezing here so insects aren’t as prominent as in summer I don’t think.

I‘m going to do an update today so hopefully you can give me some tips. One thing I did notice am I meant to train branches to the light? If I keep the cross it eliminates light source.

OMG this fucking finger, I am still off work on work cover. I had the stitches out and the wound slightly dehiscenced so I’m for a review Monday. I walk around with a constant gun finger trigger pose.
