I would treat it similar. It's another form of soil-less media. It may require a different PH, it dries out quicker than peat does, but both have no nutrients in them.

No nutrients, soil is nothing special, local potting mix with a little compost mixed.Does your soil have any nutrients in it?
Do a search for Cutivators coco thread on here. He is a very experienced knowledgeable grower and all you could want to know about growing in coco is in that thread.Yeah, as its almost the end of week 1, in a couple more days i should be at 1/2 strength. Im trying to transition to that by incrementing slowly each day. Coco shouls be similar to your promix isnt it
Although, i dont actually feel too confident in my soil feed knowledge. All i know is to not feed for a couple weeks haha

LEDRF (neil) on here also has some great info on coco.
I've been growing in strictly coco for about 4 years and low nutes and watering everyday works best. Also a ph meter and ppm pen are essential when growing in coco. Increases in nutrient strength are best measured by ppm rather than units of measure like tsp or ml.
The part about ppm would also apply to your grow Tom. If you are using a ppm/ec meter currently, excellent, if not it would be worth getting one. Different factors can effect ppm such as water and additives so rather than adding two teaspoons of nutes and maybe adding a little calmag, if needed, you can go by the ppm strength of the total mix. Say you add enough nutrients to bring the ppm up to 250 for your plants now you will be able to raise the ppm up to 300 or 350 as they grow instead of just adding another tsp or two. This will be a major factor in avoiding issues with lock out and deficiencies in the future.
Hope that helps
Yea that definitely helps, i was a little unsure about getting one soon or if it was really essential. I will definitely try to get one asap. I have come to understand the more i can learn about nutrients and how to feed my plant rhe better i will be. Are the cheaper ones any good or should i go ahead and pay up for the better brand. Thanks for the info by rhe way.✌Do a search for Cutivators coco thread on here. He is a very experienced knowledgeable grower and all you could want to know about growing in coco is in that thread.

And by god Let me see your Mars 1200! I bet that thing is a beast! Maybe i missed a psot where you showed your whole setup, but man I'd love a pic of your whole tent if thats alright.

They are looking great! You are doing something good to these ladies. Keep doing what you are doing and before you know it you'll be happy as you possibly can beThe girls was dried up so i gave them a drink ( 1/4 strength, i also added calmag at 1/4 strength). Everything is still going good so far. I am thinking about trying a little lst tomorrow. Not nothing to heavy, i just want to maybe bend the top down on the ones i can and let more light down to the lower shoots. The bushy girls i guess i could try to spread the top out a little bit. I will see how it goes. It will be my first time attempting any kind of lst. Only think i have experimented with is supercropping on my outdoor girls last year but im not going to supercrop none of my autos unless its accidentally lol.✌
Yea i was a little hesitate but i figure the only way to learn is jump in and start learning lol.✌Looks great Tom. And nice plan to lst. You will be hooked when you see what you can do.
I have played around in the past and found a training method that works best for me and the way I grow and I do the exact same thing everytime....unless I get lazy lol. You will find your favorite way too if you keep experimenting.
That's a good idea lolYea i was a little hesitate but i figure the only way to learn is jump in and start learning lol.✌
