Tom Smith's First Indoor Grow With Autos 2017

This is the root mass from one of my big plants - the water was getting logged up where the drains were - once I drilled the holes , my soil ph balanced out

Tom I've gone through the exact same thing in the past. Stumped me for a couple grows. I'm running late for work but I'll try to help you out in a bit.
Hold off on the nitrogen, it's definitely not heat stress. Wait on the Calmag, or don't change what you have been doing.
Couple questions-
Are you using RO water? If not what's the ppm of your water?
If you are checking ph of your nute solution have you calibrated your ph meter lately?
What strength are you feeding your bloom nutes?

Lets figure out the reason for the deficiency or lockout first. they aren't going to die so don't stress. Right now I'm pretty sure I know what it is but we need to figure out the cause first. If there is a deficiency but caused by lockout and you give it more of what it is deficient in you will make it worse before better.
Thanks Jay, unfortunately i dont have a ppm meter and i been using the drops for checking ph, i have a ph meter ordered and somehow my order got messed up and i haven't got to reorder yet. As far as water, all my water i catch rain water in barrel and the ph is right around 6.5 but after i add my nutes it drops to about 5.5, then i add a little ph up to bring in back up to 6.5, the nutes are fox farm tiger bloom, i been giving half strength. I have gave them 1/4 calmag per gallon also. I haven't been giving them much grow nutes for the last 3 or 4 feedings, only 2ml per gal. I checked some runoff this morning and it come to just a little over 6, the color looked to be in between 6 and 6.5 so i don't think it is a lockout. Any ideas.✌

Tom are those 5 gallon buckets drilled with like 100 holes?
I drilled quite a few holes in the buckets, maybe 20, 1/2 holes all in the botton, that ww is in a 3.5 gal flower pot with holes in botton, it looked like it was in 5- gal from pic but i just had the pot sitting down in the bucket to catch all the runoff, they seem to drain pretty good, although next grow i believe i will try promix instead of this local mix.✌

This one looked like heat stress a little to me , not the yellow one
That one has always been finicky seems like, my temps never get above 80, most of the time its right around 78, unless the light at 18in was bothering it, i raised my light a few in till i get everything lined out.✌

I've just had a calzone and 16 hot wings am still about tom you ain't got rid of me yet buddy haha am still learning off you
That calzone sounds good, thanks for sticking around, you don't never know what will happen here lol, maybe we can all learn something anyways lol.✌

It was good the wings are always my favourite though lol, I've learnt a fair bit off this forum already for my next grow after I get off this bastard tag just finishing one off then taking tent down for 3 1/2 - 4 month

Here is a couple more pics of her this morning under hps light, i got her out of tent and brought her in the other room were i could look at her good. Most of the yellowing is on older leaves, she has alot of foliage, most is on bottom except that one side, it has moved up on that side a little but it hasn't gotten any worse since yesterday i dont believe.✌

You girls are looking mighty fine I can't wait for your dry wait just as much as you, here's a j while you wait pal

Going well for my virginity run I took right good care of them like a dog with its owner, plenty of love and affection and some good sun bathing pmsl, I'm not using the usual 12/12 for mine as I'm kinda in a rush to get tent down while this tags on so I'm doing a 11/13 and I started that to put it into flowering and 2 weeks after I flipped boom preflowers and pistols are just creeping out

Looking good, i am going to get me a good ph and ppm meter for next run for sure, i rather pay up a little for a better meter when it comes to your ph. I have never used a ppm but i really want to learn so i can keep up with my nutes and strength i feed them, that way i will be able to work with a strain and figure out exactly how much it likes and fine tune everything.✌

I found a good chart for ppm monitoring il try find it for you it gives a rough week t week ppm flow you ph I think should always be between 5.5 - 6.5 as far as I'm aware that's on my fem seeds not autos though
