Man I don't know why its so hard to get ride of him.... It was supposed to be a female that's what I paid for ahhh! Oh well I'm keeping him in the one location and moving the others back home. Since he seems to have good genes and all I will use them to pollenate the lemon skunk seedling.

Ok so the rocklock.... she is only 30 days old so maybe its to soon to say she is a male right? Anyway Im probably wrong and the pictures I have prove it I'm sure. I found more sack like objects on another branch and I see no white hairs at all....Is it to soon to call though? when will I for sure know it is a male...or am I just in denial about the whole thing?

Hey Tno, Yes I think you are in DENIAL~~ :) By the time we can prove that to you he may pollinate all of your yellow skunk :yikes:... instead of you pollinating just a lower bud or 2.:winkyface:

Haha its all good Tmac and thank you for the compliment! Yeah its a hard decision but at least I don't have to kill my plant after all the time invested in him. I will keep him in 12/12 and then take all the pollen I can.

Also I'm not sure if this is correct or not but I read somewhere that you can put pollen in a garbage bag or something like that and put it over a certain part of a plant you want pollinated and it wont effect the rest of the plant...is this true?

Collect the pollen by shaking the branches over a film canister or pill bottle. Make sure you are no where near the female. Then you can use a Q-tip to apply the pollen only on the buds you want. Generally the smaller ones at the bottom that don't get much light.

So, yes it is true, but this method is easier.
 
I would actually pluck some of the ripe nanners and put them carefully in a jar. And then use a qtip or very small paint brush to pollinate the lower buds. Make sure no fan is on when pollinated.

Haha no bro why would I be mad at you? I'll take both yours and Smokeys advice and try and pollinate some of the lower buds on my plant. I'm trying to imagine how much bud I'll get from the lemon skunk, she isn't that bug so I hope it's at least enough to fill maybe half a zip lock bag lol, but maybe I won't have that much.
 
I am not sure but what I think my dad does is he pulls his males before they open there pollen sacks.Then he boils the branch and it opens the pollen sacks.Then he puts that in a plastic bag.I think this is what he does I would half to ask him and double check.He is pretty old school and knows his stuff and breeds his own strains.Not like them fake ass lmfao strain hunters...OW sorry lol was thinking out loud I was just watching there video.HOW WEEK LOL.Well at least they made it out of the tiny wild garden with their heads still intact.:tokin:

Ok so I'm looking into a new light and light fixture to help with my next grow. I want to be able to grow some decent sized plants this time, mine are just way to small and I know wont give me the bud I'm looking for. I've been looking into HID mainly the 400W Metal Halide Lamp - 6500 Kelvin Does anyone know about these?

Sounds like something fishy goin on. I would call the breeder because if multiple people are getting males, then they could have had a mix up or something. Might not be that they are trying to get one over on you.

Ok so I have contacted the seller twice now and have had no response from them. I'm not sure if I can say their name on here or not, but they are a sponsor of this site. I hope its just a mistake and that they aren't trying to screw people over.

I wonder who they got their seed from? If its from the same people I did then something isn't right!
 
Ok so I posted to Siscokid about what happened to me...And we both got our seeds from the same sponsor!!!!

I'm not sure what to do if the sponsor doesn't reply to my emails. Its international calling for me so thats not an option. I want to at least warn people to stay away from the rocklock so they aren't gonna get disappointed when they find out they are all males!

I just want to warn anyone reading this post to stay away from the "rocklock" seed and if they send it to you as a free feminized seed. To email or call them and send it back until they resolve the issue. I have tried contacting them a few time s and have yet to get any response
