THsea's Outrageous & Just Plain Cheesy Grow

Oppps......I better check the basil :thedoubletake:

Lol! That's OMM for ya! :) they are kind of out of sight... They are probably fine. I'd be surprised if they hadn't developed and roots yet.

Woohoo!!!
Oh yea! They said I'm 100% human, no vampire in here!

Glad to hear it went well ThSea. I bet it's nice to "wake up" and not have any new issues.
You know what? After my resection, I woke up and they told me they took out some unneccisary, in the way organ that they have to take out during such a procedure. It was probably the meds, however I didn't know that was coming out, so I felt really sad. Not too sad, if I don't remember what it was.

But... It was like there was a hole inside my body!

My son has crohn's and is now facing surgery. He will not try cannabis even though we are in an MMJ state, his father will grow it and provide it to him FREE. He gets pissed at me for talking about it... wtf? Oh well, I have tried. Let's say I could sway him, what provides you the most relief?

Hi THSea. Good news on your scope!:cheertwo:
:thanks:

Hm.. I'll ask a few questions, but if you would rather talk in private send me a PM man..
Has he ever tried it? How old is he? I'd really like to know what he is doing to control it... Surgery happens sometimes, even if you do everything you can... Scarred tissue doesn't get better really... That being said, I could feel food moving through, instead of getting stuck and hurting like a motherfucker... After smoking cannabis... Even with a ~5-7mm of clearance for about a foot of my ileum. To me it was no less than a miracle medicine.

It doesn't work for everyone... But I've heard much higher success with those who have tried it than not. I always worry when I hear about people on the medications for it.. Remicade really set me back a few years... Still kind of dealing with the aftermath. Surgery was easier to overcome than the drugs, IMO... And I've tried everything but helminth treatments.

I prefer to smoke because I like it... Tinctures have worked the best for aiding my stomach however... Certain crossings of ChemDawg (not through diesel, ive tried a Chem-Diesel and it did little for me) have done wonders. Afghan Black hashish is the single best medicine I've ever tried though.

Here we go! :yahoo: Picture update for 1/23/2013

Hope you all liked the update! :thumb: I'll do indoor pictures tomorrow or Friday (if I wait 'til Friday I'll do pictures of i/d and o/d).

The LA Cheese reminds me a hell of a lot of the Buddha Tahoe (caliconn is the breeder, its some OG kush variety) that I grew. I love the structure! If this LA fills out more than the OG did I'll be really happy.

The Exodus#1 looks really pretty to me. I mean, they all do... But I like that un-topped/innocent look... She doesn't even know shes a pot plant! :laughtwo:

Friday will be a busy day, and I'll be starting early... I've got work tomorrow however. I've had to keep putting off repotting the 2046, since I don't have soil and couldn't really get around to it.. Its alive, and not as ugly as plants can be... But I'm pretty sure she is a little sad. Really not expecting much of the NLxBB auto... But hey, it maybe a decent batch of brownies :)

Plants look real nice outside in the "weather" ThSea. I always wanted to ask if you tried helminth, my dog has....;-)

Well, ive taken probiotics! Which is... Not the same, somewhat similar principle... Not really. LOL
I really wanted to try it... It read very promising... And i have little bias when it comes to being healthy. My doctor didnt like the idea, besides i think it was being done at some university on the mainland.. probably would be hard to make it work. But i was just looking for something as effective as cannabis.. so ill just stick with the cannabis :)

looking good T
glad to hear your ok:thumb:
Hey CHH! Thanks, glad you like my girls :)
Yup! Got a call from the doctor today, he said my biopsy results came in fast... Nothing! Now that bill of health is official friends!

THsea

My son is in his mid-thirties. He smoked a little pot as a kid an that is the problem. He did not like it. He only smoked it for recreation and does not believe it will help him. I will have to find out what meds they are giving/gave him. I was taking him often for shots but I did not follow what they were giving him. I am certain it was some kind of steroid. I am not sure but I think he screwed up the first wave by missing doses. The next round went better and I think provided him some relief. He was able to gain some weight after that and no longer looks like a skeleton. He did approach his Dr. about cannabis but he was shot down because his Dr. does not prescribe cannabis for ANYTHING. Another point of contention because he likes his Dr., who is in the same group as my Dr.!!!! and I feel a Dr. that will refuse to explore relief for their patients and refuses to see benefit of cannabis is a poor physician. I continue to educate myself about how to help him when and if he sees the light. I have tried to slowly educate him but he is sick... you know how sick... and he as an attitude to match his illness so I have to tread lightly.

Thank you for your information and sharing, it is good to have someone that knows the score to talk to. I like to talk here because maybe it will help someone else. Speaking of that... the black hash, how did it provide relief? Meaning how did you ingest it to provide relief.

Thanks THsea

Thank 'ya! You've got some crazy bushes yourself!

Interesting. My view was totally different.. My first drugs WERE the steroids.. Which can make you manic (and that feels GREAT)... However, what goes up... :hmmmm: .. There are some interesting stories to do with that. But those steroids can be bad new long term... Lowered bone density, among other things.

Your son's shots could be Humira, its like the new Remicade.. Meaning, same type of drug, but supposed to be "safer".... These are all immune-depressing drugs. Its hard to even notice some of the negatives.

Cannabis was a last resort for me. I went from 130lbs at 14 to starting to drop under 100 at 19... Yea, I really thought I might not live very long. Just kind of waste away. The only reason I tried everything under the sun after trying cannabis was, I finally knew I could be healthy.. And got to remember what that felt like. It was a mistake to try Remicade again, it cost me a career (+a good paying job).. Thousands of dollars, and depression. But I knew "marijuana" would not be acceptable to my parents. Eventually I just said "look, I'm going to do this. It works".

All my doctors told me the same thing.. "I cannot suggest this, but if its working I would never tell you to stop". Good enough for me. They were Military doctors, so even that was pretty bold to say... Hell, they tried hard for me to get a Marinol script... And yes, Marinol can help. But it isn't as effective or as SAFE as straight cannabis...

I'd suggest strains that wont elude to a high, if he doesn't like that. Most of the cannabinoids that deal with inflammation (if looking at this as a maintenance therapy/drug) have little to do with the high ... CBC, B-caryophyllene... Thats all I can think of (tired). Don't get me wrong, THC helps with appetite... And nausea! But good luck finding cannabis completely devoid of that! ;)

The Afghan Black was ridiculously relaxing and potent. Gave munchies like crazy, and would stop my abdominal pain nearly instantly. I loved to smoke it, but truth be told... Eating the hashish (straight up or cooking it into a mocha-coffee) was the best. I would have loved to made Tincture with it... If my attempts to re-create the Afghan Black go well, I may do a video on how to produce it.

Ask anything you want Mr. Buckshot. Anything I can do to help!
I was lucky enough to have OMM to ask about re-sectioning surgery... Fuck, after hearing how they flayed him, my laproscopic shindig sounded fine.

Thank you THsea... plus reps for that reply!

Your welcome, and thank you!

Hopefully your son will come around... I understand having an attitude. Tread carefully! Heck, Crohn's is our own immune-system... Kicking our OWN ass! Of course we all have attitude :)

BTW, other than anti-depressants.. Cannabis has very little interaction with the medications for Crohn's... In other words, they can be taken together... Oh! And part of why I like growing/ eating basil is that it has b-caryophyllene in it also! There are several plants with this cannabinoid in it... Hops, oregano, Black Pepper, cloves... My favorite two are obviously Basil and Cannabis :yummy:

That is good to know about basil. I am on a cooking gourmet kick and have been using fresh basil. It is a great tasting herb!

I hate to hear you suffering with Crohn's, really glad to hear that cannabis is not interacting and helps with enjoying a better life!:circle-of-love:

Thank you for even more info... by the way I heard from his wife today that he might be open to new relief options, maybe.

Thanks again
