FC, we had Extra Pepperoni, Extra Cheese and Extra Sauce, Thin Crust, and cooked Crisp in their OVEN, got a Large, best Pizza in our Small Town!!! But Back East, of the Mississippi I mean, Has Pizza Places that Blow The Doors right off of Our little Pizzeria!!! Don, I do not Trim, I have Trimmers that do that, i bring the Plants down, Biggest and ripest Plants and or Kolas first, Bring it up to My Machine Runners by the Large Tub Full, and then return to the garden for More, we usually work like this NON-STOP for 8-10 Hours, then we all have to Stop, for the day, unless rain is Coming, and we have a small window to get all the ready stuff in, I have worked for over 24 hours Before,Doing This!!! And as far as rain Goes, usually the earlier flowering Strains, have the most problem getting mold from The Rain and damp Weather, that is why We Harvest according to Strain, the early's First of Course, Then the later ones, and the ones later ripening after those, and on and on. The Rain really does not cause much Damage any more, since i Double cage My Plants, Provide bamboo Poles to Anchor the Cages, and tie any Arms to, should it rain or get to windy, or BOTH!!! As far as getting the water off of them goes, as long as My earliest Flowering ones are in, I usually will not have much problems with it, shaken or Not. i have actually found that Plants that are shaken, can Mold worse than if just left alone, as shaking can cause stuff that would have remained on the outside of the buds, and just dried out on their own,to get shaken into places in the Buds, it cannot escape From, causing Mold. Plus as the garden gets cleared Out, there is more air-flow, so they Dry a lot Faster. Since my altitude is so High, I can have rain one day, and a few Hours Later, have High Temps again!!! This is the time to really worry, because Mold likes it Damp, then HOT, it Grows Fast that way. But if I have all my earlys in, and it is mostly later INDICAS,SATIVAS,HYBRIDS(SATIVA DOM), then they usually do not tend to mold as Much, if at all. I think it is because a lot of Sativas come from more humid areas, and the later Indicas do as well, like tropic or Sub-Tropic Areas!!! I know, sounds strange, but it is the TRUTH!!! I have a Friend Skip, that uses Industrial Fans, after a rain, or if he feels like it is to damp out. He is Notorious for harvesting, much to late, but that is Skip, and he is 65, and i do not see him changing any time soon. He even lets his earlys Go, and get rained on, i have helped him harvest before, and he will have Plants, that should have been Brought in weeks before, the Buds, sometimes just fall apart from being TOO ripe, Like an OVER Ripe Banana or Tomato. It is a shame, but Skip Grows enough, that He could suffer a loss of a quarter of His Crop, and still have to much herb to Deal, with. Skip also is into Flash Drying...YUUUCK!!!! He uses Dehumidifiers, Fans, and Heaters, to dry his Crop, His herb always(TO ME AND Y, AS WELL AS OTHERS, LIKE CRAP), but he manages to make it irregardless, He just drops His Prices so low, it still gets gotten rid of, Fairly Fast, but I would not Buy It!!! And WestBlunts, Molasses are fine for your plants, used in the right amounts, of course. Molasses is good for Stress relief, and Nutrient Uptake in Your Plants, they also provide better carbohydrate Uptake, and better Resin Production, as well. If your gonna use Molasses,I recommend using CAL-MAG as well, it gives your Plants extras of these Ingredients, and Boy Do They Like It, just ask CF(CLOSET FARMER). % AM, Gotta Go, Y up and in Bathroom just sitting and Crying, need to go see her!!! Thanks All For Stopping By, and do not be afraid to write comments and or Questions, even if negative, I will answer all as well and truthfully as I can!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.
