Thirvnrob's Power Plant - TLO Soil In SIP Containers

I have a couple more details to share - since I’m not in a tent I use mic stands to mount my fans on. The clip on fans fit perfectly & they’re out of the way. I like the old stands with the weighted base for the smaller footprint but they’re hard to find. I also mount my microscope in the mic cradle when it’s time to start looking at trichs

And no new bugs on the sticky traps so far, but they’re coming…

I plan to use SNS 203 as a foliar application 2-3 times each week. I kept them beaten back pretty well last grow.

I’m thinking about top dressing them with a high N mix but I’m not sure I need to especially since I’m planning on flipping them in a couple weeks. I’d wait a little longer but I’m apprehensive about how big these girls might get. Any suggestions?

Awesome! So your soil is Rev soil TLO? They look happy! I'm glad to see them that way as mine is so early I can't tell yet if it's really going to thrive.

WSE power plant for me was a nice fast strain to grow.
Nice yield also very indica dom.
Smoke was ok needed a nice cure for me to start enjoying it.
Wont be on my list to grow again as i like something stronger.
That being said i did only pop one seed. o_O
Will lurk in the back see what happens :)

What's your preference? I like sativa dominant hybrids. The info from the site where I bought these seeds claim 60% Sativa & 40% Indica. Some call me a Sativa Diva...

Not that I know but mine is doing that to so there you go.
I'm assuming you've recently switched to SIP or organic? Or both? You don't need to be coy, Roy...

I went out to visit the girls, turn the A/C off , turn the heater& humidifier on, and I just had to sit & gaze at everything. Looking at @Buds Buddy 's setup inspired me to clean & organize my grow space & I have to say I love my space now & I think the ladies like it better too. I wouldn't have noticed this before, but this is a nice, even canopy. The girl on the right looks taller than the other two and she is, but only by 1-1/2" or so. The pic is deceiving...

what is a sip pot , plus i don't see any way for the roots to breath - no holes, cloth pots to plastic pots doesn't make sense to me but i grow tlo only and only use cloth pots 20 gallon and water only with 1 top feed of gia green dry bloom nutes 1 week before flip to flower, r.o water that's it with great results .it doesn't get any easier, cook my soil for 3 months prior to planting in it , kiddie pool to cook my soil in and a worm farm for living fresh worm castings , i dont miss the hydro -coco grow 1 bit , the rev`s book is spot on and really works !

I like both for different times of day and how I feel.

Hehe, this is my first SIP Rob. I'm having fun getting to know it!

Hey Nooob, click the ViparSpectra link below and read the first page or two. Mine is one style but the theory is the same. Water, air, soil, plant, in that order bottom up.

@Thirvnrob , thanks for the tag and your chronological of occurrence is spot on. I noticed you have a fire extinguisher in your grow room, great idea and a must.

As Arnold said "I'll be back".

@Bill284 shared an experience that prompted me to add the fire extinguisher. It was a small expense that helps protect a large investment...

The girls are filling out nicely while still showing some signs of wariness of these containers. Some of the leaves on two of the plants are clawing, but they've relaxed quite a bit & some of the leaves are praying. On the right is papa bear, on the left is mamma bear & baby bear is in the middle.

Let's talk about papa bear. I broke a main cola (with no resulting fit of anger) and ended up with a cluster of growth on one corner of the plant. I'm not sure whether I should thin it out some or let it go. I gave her a light defoliation today & tried to spread her out a little more but she's still pretty hearty...

With the expectation of explosive growth, it seems logical that there would be an expectation of the girls having a bigger appetite. I built my own soil from The Rev's recipes & "cooked" it for four months. I wonder If I should top dress - I hope to flip them one week from today so never mind if, but when should I top dress? Like every newbie, I have almost everything that Down To Earth has to offer, so I should be able to come up with a good concoction from the book, but I'm all ears if anyone has suggestions...
