...

Time to let the shits eat NEEM!!!!!!!

Maybe they aren't thripes. Who cares. I'm running a garden not a zoo ..

Seems the mission to accomplish any building today is going to be tabled and exterminator dabber is gonna have his hands full!

Silver lining. I noticed before It before flip. No harm no foul. The damage is minimal, and I caught the faaaackers early.

Excuse me while I slip into my haz mat suit......

..

Get those suckers

What suggestions you have for mites van? I'm on about a 6 month run with them. I was cycle growing and harvesting weekly so I did my best to combat them and never had an infestation I stayed in top of them and kept numbers low and harvests good but I recently bombed the room after dwindling my numbers down so I can start doing full runs rather than putting one into flower and taking one out. I bombed the rooms with doctor doom diggers and then distrmaceous earthed the shit out of them before flipping. Yesterday I see they came back after 5 weeks.
Frustrated beyond belief. I hit them with doctor doom all the time. Went through a 60$ bottle of azamax. Neem oil in veg. Distemaceous earth on everything. Bleached walls tents changed the filters changed the fans. I pretty much took everything out and cleaned it and the little fucks still came back and this time they are the borg. 2 spotted rather than the little black ones you start out with lol

Which makes me wonder if mad dabber he mites or thrips. What's the leaf damage look like bro? Bunch of white specs?

Which brings me to another point. Distamaceous earth makes it really hard to hunt for mites and inspect. The white powder basically gives camaflauge to the incoming onslaught of mite reproduction. So I wonder if it's a good thing after all if it takes me an extra 2 weeks to notice them

I'm almost certain they are thripes. Black specks. And there a pic I posted of one. So I'm not certain maybe but about 99.9%

Dabber Congrats on the Nom!

Since you've already found them....I was going to tell ya....never seen plants oooooze without bugs....check your girls good.

What do you have to combat them?
Lmfao Attu!!! You poor MF, I did 13 months on the shit hole island right before your shit hole island. Shimeya, where a good day is based off of if the wind blew you to the ground or not  great place to never go back to though  some hella storms out that way, do remember 1 day the sun came out and the wind stopped.........thought the world was coming to an end
Wow! AB
DOUBLE LMAO, normally I tell someone I've been to the Aleutian islands and Alaska.
"Oooo Alaska, I would die to get to go there. It must have been wonderful!"

I smile and agree.....all along thinking....yea, you would probably Die Bitch!
It is refreshing to bump into someone who has had the pleasure to visit. One of the 7 Wond....WTF am I doing here! Places in the world.
Deepest bluest water I've ever seen.
Right about the wind...and not a tree in sight! They can't even survive that onslaught.
Always wondered? Where the fux did the foxes come from? And WTF do they eat?

Reminisiting now. Just nice to run into someone. Whoes boots have trodden the same godforsaken shit hole.
Later

Rub a dub dub you've got trees in your tub lol, filling that bathroom up nicely! How's the napalm blood bath going?

Amy update on the little pests? Did you try Neem?

Curious...
*.*.* Cedru *.*.*
I hit them with the NEEM! Well soaked to be exact. I got off the phone with arctic bowl a few minutes back he's going to let me borrow a solo pump sprayer. I think that's the plan anyways. He thinks they came off the Lilly bush. He also said hed let me use a lil spinosad or w.e it's called

Fingers crossed the first time is the charm

You will never get that taste out of your flowers. Unless you water cure.

Gotta love them yapping damn fox’s  lil peckers will shit on anything or piss on anything. When I saw you mention Attu I was like “sweet, a fellow island boy” wtf eh, when you try an explain that rain hurts when it’s being blown 130 mph most folks don’t get it, lmfao I know you get it  use to fish out my window for them damn fox, not with a hook or anything but a chicken bone, tie it to the fishing line, cast it out the window and wait for one to grab it. Lil peckers won’t let go of that chicken bone either so they give a good fight lol. The shit you come up with just to kill time eh. Hell I use to try to be the 1st around the island in the morning to see what washed up, lots of rubber crab pot balls, never did find a glass one though. We had a barge that was on the north beach, abandoned of course and anytime we needed metal for a project.........lol, yup, cut that shit right off the barge

We will have to chat one day, swap some funny stories eh.

Blessed Buds our friend and be well :passitleft:

Goodmorning Dabber! Hope all is well, have an awesome morning and an amazing day

Well here is what I learned in my battle with them bastards.

1. Mites freaking suck donkey balls

2. You better man up because those little bastards are for reals and they aim to win.

3. On a serious note, I recommend a few different things. First invest is a good sprayer and figure out the best way to spray your plants. For me, I have a small work table outside so I bring the girls down (all in veg when I was battling them) and spray them with different things on different days as they can build tolerances (supposedly) if you are spraying with the same thing every time. I tried to stay organic in nature and away from pesticides. For my run of the mill day, I use water mixed with alcohol at a 9 to 1 ratio. It will help kill the bugs as well as wash eggs off of the leaves and it doesn't have the harsh affect on the plant that spraying with other stuff can. Then I alternate with Neem Oil, SNS-217, SM-90, and even AzaMax. So for me a sample schedule would be Monday - Water with alcohol, Tuesday - Neem Oil, Wednesday - Water with alcohol, Thursday - SNS-217, Friday - Water with Alcohol, Saturday - SM-90, Sunday let em recover. Repeat the cycle. Now as soon as I am finished spraying I bring them back inside and let them dry completely before I put them back in the tent. Also, feel free to bleach the crap out of your tent to get any stragglers.

I have also learned its much easier to defoliate the crap out of your plants before spraying. Less leaves to spray, less places for the mites to hide. I also cut the leaves off that are showing signs of mite action. Its a war brother. I finally decided to let mine go to harvest and then I am not doing any new plants until I clean the crap out of my tent, all grow area, work tables, etc. I will bleach everything 2-3 times over and go a week or two with no plants so any stragglers might die.

I have also decided to be more proactive with my spraying. I intend to make the water and alcohol a once a week spray as well perhaps something else once a week (aim is to wipe them out before they ever have a shot at establishing a foothold), be it Neem Oil or something else. I am toying around with the idea of planting rosemary in the pot with the cannabis and try companion growing since Rosemary oil is the main active ingredient in almost all the natural mite treatments. Figure it can't hurt to try it. Perhaps the smell will make them want to go elsewhere.

All in all Rooster, it just takes hard work brother....but you know this. I still have a few on my Blueberry plant and on one or two of my Durban branches. Predator mites seem to be helping keep them at bay and thats a decent option to just get you through til harvest.
