Snid was wrong ,and his plants are tiny ,tiny plants like that do not need defoliation
 
All I know is 5 leaves isn't going to make or break me... And some of the biggest plants I've seen grown indoors are done so with vigorous training and defol. But I can certianly see why people don't in veg. I don't think this one has a right or wrong answer more preference vs grow style....


Lol his plants as in my plants are tiny? I thought they looked good....

Abbie has always had this problem from her first set of true leaves. There is that molten crap (call it TMV or just a genitc pile of horse crap) she will always be doomed to have some spotting and twisted growth but her.recent growth looks very healthy. Sadly the older damaged growth never fully recovered :/ o Well! She more for practice and concentrate bound after flower :)
 
I'm a little offended by calling Gloria tiny.... TWICE none the less .

At this point I'm hoping to get at least 2 zips off that tiny plant.... And that's being modest. That's tiny tiny compared to what I think I can pull from her.... short yes! tiny tiny? Stop back in 45 days and hopefully I can Bust that myth :high five:

No offence but plants grow ,that's what they do ,whether snid is involved or not .

Now look at snids plants and look at mine .

In the race to produce the most from a diminutive plant, Goldie or Spog FTW?

Your plants look great man.

Snid grows tiny plants and does not need to defoliate.
Those big plants you see people grow with defoliation actually need it.

Light penetrates a foot + into the plant easy with no defoliation .
So a 1 and a half foot plant up to 2 feet doesn't need any defoliation.

You know there are beginners on here been growing 5 years and think they are a boss LOL .

I mean idk about great! But I'm very happy with them despite the poor genetics of the one....

I see what you're saying though for sure. I think it sounds like the snid technique is better for larger plants maybe. Especially those that aren't spread as horizontally and have a lot of height to them. I will stick with tucking fan leaves until flip going forward. There were only the 2 or 3 that were really bugging me anyways :thumb:


I haven't grown in almost 5 years I'm still having to learn and relearn a bunch. Advice and opinions are always very welcomed here! It certianly is tough when you hear conflicting info. But from my experience it's normally just differing opinions. Granted there is certianly bad info out there. I always try to have an opinion or method seconded before trying something different. Due diligence is a must when dealing with medicated minds . Especially ones that are hell bent on their awful grow tactics

Nooooo he meant another member. Not me. I'm like I have spent almost 2 long months vegging her.... Don't you dare go and call her tiny . But yes a love my little Goldie

Thank you kindly miss Shorti :) if I weren't adding any more lighting I'd be happy with a qp total. But seems how I will be adding the 2 qb120s. I'm hoping to... push it to the limit
 
Speaking of which. The drivers were ordered this morning . Couldn't be more excited!!!!

I have a long list of stuff to grab from the depot tomorrow. Wife won't stop complaining about smell, so my idea of recycling good oxygenated air back into the house is being tabled for now and I guess the good air can go wherever the air goes from the bathroom vent. (The carbon filter isn't currently connected to the vent, but will be tomorrow). I'm assuming if the smell traces back into the other bathroom, so might some of the fresh air .

I'm 90% sure I see new growth on the clone. Just continuing to keep an eye on her

Awwww...6 year olds! My 15 year old has gone from that to glaring at me when I ask him to do something. "Everything is a phase" is what I've been telling myself since my kids were born!
 
ya i also have a 17year old son that knows "EVERYTHING" and i have a 9 year old niece that i take care of definitly more fun before they "KNOW" more than you
