Sweet looking family shots Them! Now is the time to adjust Gloria bf she gets too committed to her place under the screen. And I love the size of the fans on your SPOG. Other than the fact that it's 7" tall it thinks it's a full sized plant!

I'm tempted to submit her into the photo contest.... she loves to work it for the camera! If I can keep Gloria looking half that good in flower I will be one proud papa!!!

Ok family. Time for a brief peek into my little slice of Eden.

The tub of love... where dreams become reality.

I'm thinking this weekend I will get a little snip happy and do a light defol to remove fan leaves from what will soon be beautiful flower sites


I may have to adjust Gloria. As you may notice there are 2 rows of squares to be filled on the far side and 3 cheat the bottom. May just scoot her a smidge.

And the clone is getting misted 3 or 4 times a day as well as the inside of the dome.

And we will finish with a "frost shot"

Ahh if only she was more than 2 inches tall when she began to bloom. Beautiful genes on this one . Sink water must have something in it....


Well that's all for the update today. Just patiently awaiting the next opportunity to upgrade the lights in the room and should start the build to enclose the tub space this weekend or next.

Yeah I was thinking the same way to be honest!

I guess my other dilemma ... Is if I really lover her traits, and pheno type, and want to keep a mother plant around, I'm not sure I want it to be from a 2nd node cutting. I would prefer to top the most robust growth and use that. Remember a clone thinks it is as old as the mother plant. And someone please correct me if I am mistaken but the robustness and health of the clone when it is taken will decide it's potential correct??? I.e. a stronger healthier branch will grow better offer better cutting as a mother plant because it thinks it is an apical top not a side shoot.... That make sense? Anyone with me still hahahaha

The amount and action at the time a clone is taken. Will determine future growth.

Two branches from the same node, same time.
One grows like a new plant.
One grows like it's still a branch.
Veg long enough....2 beautiful plants.
Quick root and flip....it is what it is.

I would stay away from Rhino Skin on clones.
Z7 and a light dose of High PK (Bloom) nutes is all you need. Untill roots form.

I remember reading that 6 months was when to take clones off a mother plant for max cannabinoids. Every clone after that is at least 6 months old. No idea if that has ever been lab-tested tho. Also, hardly anyone vegs for 6 months. Of course, my clones will (assuming they survive)!

I don't know about 6 months?
Plants that have matured (offset).
Clone nicer plants quicker.
Maybe A mature plant on average is 6 months.
If I want to take a lot of clones.
Flip to 12/12 when ready. Plants offset 3 to 5 days. When the stretch is done....take clones.
If you want to slow the stretch...take clones.

Thank you good sir! I only added 2 drops into the water. I was at the store and noticed a cloning gel who's active ingredient was soluable potash. But noted I will avoid any more.

It had reached the canopy and was level or just below the other growth tops. Not sure if that matters hopefully it means she will be a good grower. I'm only hoping house her for pollen.

BUT so far I really like her genes and may want to make a mother from a different cutting.

It said seeds for this strain can only be made using clones??

What does this mean???

But those ARE the seeds I'm growing. Maybe Robert was a little medicated when he wrote it? That or he's saying the OG kush and strawberry cough came from some clones of an authentic mother maybe? Heck if I Know... wait may be that he made his seeds from a clone of the true strawberry kush. I give up. Haha. All I know is I'm excited to see home these things flower supposed to be very colorful

Gloria got more training and a small 2 fan trim just to open up her center some so sites can mature pre flip.

She's a little asymmetric but that's fine with me so long as she's healthy .

Abbie will receive her training post water (preflush) today.

The clone is yeah still half alive or whatever a clone is before it roots. So no update on Gloria 2.0.

The little thing is growing. It's crazy how little they start and how big they get! I guess all life starts that way but still! J almost forget about her which is probably a good thing

And Goldie! I submitted 3 photos for the creme de la creme photo contest. But more for funsies than anything else. May get a couple more in here next week. If just be happy with some 420 stickers for the tub .

It's crazy to think it's already almost November aka flip time.... what an adventure! I'm hooked for life now
