UPDATE

Day 29

All is going well, although I've picked up my first bug problem... ever. I suppose it was bound to happen at some point. Reaf thinks fungus gnats, and after some discussion with him and some reading up it seems he is probably right. Saw about 3 or 4 last night when I fed the girls. They flew up when I poured the solution on to the coco. Very small little fly thingies. I will look for diatomaceous earth, otherwise will just top dress with perlite and get a few fly strips.

Anyway, on to the pics.

The shorter, bushier pheno of Exodus Kush. Prefer this one. Seems much more healthy and has a nice structure.

Those work great if you do not spend more then 4 hours a day in the area. If you grow in your room or other part of house, be careful.

Quick question... Can I supplement my HPS with CFL in flower? Guy at the hydro shop said it would do more damage than good?? Dafuq?!

Hey blaze your plants are looking great by the way, how long you vegging for? Im not sure what that guy at the hydro shop means, a few extra CFLs to cover some darker patches can't be bad.

Those gnats don't stand a chance with your growing skills bro lol!

It can cause cancer and health issues. It's a strong poison and works well, very well on mites. I chose to cut a week early then hang HS no pest because it's a room people live in too.

If it was a closet or garage I'd use it on a heart beat. Moreover, if you are growing for medical patients you should not use in late flower. Non medical should be fine with normal immune system.

Yeah, he said something about the plant releases different hormones with CFL and HPS. Something like that. Tried to find info on the net, but came up with nothing.

Thanks buddy! Will be vegging for 40 days. So just 10 days left. Will do some defol on monday, then they have a week to recover and then it's flower time.

Yeah, I agree with you on the light. I'm just doing it to cover the sides of the tent that don't get much light from the HPS. They are not meant to compete with the HPS.

I had no idea they were poisonous. Just thought they were yellow and sticky. LOL

HS no pest are not yellow sticky traps, those are fine. Hs looks like an air fresheners.

Ha, my T5HO + CFL grow was dank, I got pix on my latest journal. But HPS is king (DE included) for watts thrown at plants. LED's have spectrum advantage but lack watts. LED's with true watts @ 1000 or better are hotter then HPS. But do not let anyone tell you CFL or T5HO don't flower.
