TheBlaze's Multi-Strain Grow In Coco & 600W HPS

I hope my daughter never wants to/never has to smoke/use mj.. I hope she doesn't do half the shit I did.. I would do it all again though, as use and abuse made possible some of the best nights-days-nights, lol, of my life.. If only I could remember them... Does this make me a hypocrite?

I wouldn't have an issue with my son smoking when he is old enough. It's the other shit I did, that I want him to stay away from. LOL!

Agreed. I'd be quite happy if my kids used cannabis but only after 21 & preferably with a vape. It's all that other shit they need to be worried about. I would also have no problem in discussing & letting my kids know that I use & grow cannabis once they're old enough to understand.

:Namaste:

My daughter is 4 and already looks through the microscope to see the "medicine" in the "little white balls" growing on the leaves...she reminds me to "take some medicine with you daddy" if I am going to my VA appointments...she grows mint and sunflowers right along side of me (also has an acorn, now a small oak tree!, and a lemon tree growing too...they winter over in the tent and go outside/greenhouse in the summer) and she understands that some people who are very sick need special medicine and the only way to get the "safe" kind is to grow it yourself...
We also are going to homeschool route and also live in a medical state so legally we are ok and she obviously is not allowed to touch the plants or come near processing and storage...only the live plants...perfectly safe for her...

It doesn't bother me at all that my kids know now that Dad is growing something special in his room that isn't for them.

As a brewer, my wife and i make a highly addictive drink that can cause total loss of both motor and mental control. Taken to extremes you can actually kill yourself by drinking too much. But I had to explain that we still do it and moderation in life is often the key.

Explaining cannabis is MUCH easier. Explaining the laws about cannabis is much harder.

For the record, I also think that kids drink coffee WAY too young in life these days. When I was young, we were not allowed to drink coffee until we were out of the house. I personally put cannabis more in that court than alcohol, tobacco and the other even more terrifying stuff out there. Think about the comparisons for a second. Kids should grow up first, then make smart decisions.

Sadly in my community IV drugs are insanely on the rise while people waste time worrying about cannabis. What we see would tear your heart out. That is what scares me when it comes to my kids. Honestly cannabis isn't really on my radar if they can avoid becoming alcoholics that chain smoke or god forbid worse.

:Namaste:
Bob ;)

Urmom,4 year old daughter here also.. The honesty of children, I couldn't show her dads inside garden. The innocence of children, I'm not taking that away from here so I don't get into trouble, the world will take it soon enough.. We have a veg patch and flower bed for bees. Dad had a big tomato plant, "oh, silly plant, no tomatoes on this one again this year" lol..

Everyone makes good points. It's funny how even stoners aren't immune to the propaganda. We all know that cannabis is safer than alcohol, but we haven't been conditioned to believe that alcohol is bad. We know it is at an intellectual level, but we don't "feel" that it is. If that makes sense. I also get what Grizz is saying, as it applies to me as well. I have to stay under the radar.

UPDATE

Day 18 of 12/12

It seems most of the plants have stopped stretching, and they are around 1m in height now. All except the 2 kushes. They are still reaching for the stars. Especially the taller pheno. I removed all the ties holding her down. Should I supercrop her again? My gut tells me I should just leave her alone now. What say you guys?

Also, I'm going to have to deal with the bug situation more aggressively now. So I'm going to go on the hunt this weekend for a decent, safe product to use. I want to deal with this before the buds start stacking properly. Will have to then use the bud washing technique come harvest time.

On to the the pics...

Thanks Miller. Yeah, she is a very easy going plant. Just does her thing without much interference from me. Just as well, because I'm too busy fussing over the kushes and making sure they don't throw their toys out the cot. The super skunk is a plant for beginners. It almost seems like it takes care of itself. Plug and play. Along with the Superb OG. Another plug and play plant. They should change the name to P&P-OG.

Everytime I look at the kushes, they remind me of your Cinex plant. Similar structure, with long flimsy side branching.

I'm am liking that taller kush. I like my ladies leggy. But I gotta agree with millertm that the skunk is looking happy. :thumb:

I bet you are going to have to do something to those kush girls sooner or later. They look to be making a run for it.

Bob ;)

Thanks Bob. I really hope they stop stretching soon. Maybe a proper defol will stall them. I think I will do that this weekend maybe. Just the 2 kushes and the skunk. The other 3 I will do a few days later. I'm also going to have to get some stakes, as I know those spindly girls are going to be falling all over the place in a few weeks. E Kush is marketed as a beginners strain... yeah right. 2 different phenos, and both need training and are a little nute sensitive.

Hello Blaze. Well well. I read through this entire thread. It looks really nice. Bushy, Jungly, snowyyy ^^. I always like the moment when the first trichromes appear :) Especially when there are multiple strains :) The White Rhino is quite huge !

Lots of pictures in here :) I have to admit, coco seems to grow as fast as hydro :) Your grow space seems to be large enough to support all those biggies even if few are still stretching ^^ :) As I'm also growing some super skunk, I'll stay around to see how it ends :)

Nice buds everywhere :)

Great job in here :) Peace :)

Welcome BG, and thank you for the kind words! Good to have another member on board.

Sending positive vibes to you, and your skunky garden.

Thanks Doc!

Yeah, I believe up the age of about 16 it is a definite no on MJ use. For the exact reason you mentioned.

I see you had a misspent youth... just like I did. Hahaha!!!

Feel free to post up pics of your setup. Would appreciate that.

Cheers brother

Oh Boy,

I've got some stories. Too many much worse than mj drugs in my past. Not to mention the alcohol abuse. Surviving those decades and being able to still function somewhat normally is a miracle in itself. I'll post a pic of the rolling platforms a little later brother!

Here's the platforms blazer!

The dimensions are 14 x 14 x 3-1/4 inches.
I estimate the width of the plywood to be 1/4 to 3/8 inch. If you have a table saw, you could probably reproduce these for $3 depending on the cost of the casters in your area. Good luck my friend. These have saved my back 100 x lol

Just grow smaller plants. Kidding, great craftsmanship.

Cheers

lol, I bought them at Freddies for 12 bucks. It looks like they're just wood glued together. They are a must for me since surgery. I just set the saucer on the platform and kind of weirdly gyrate the 7 gal ecopots into the saucer lol. It's a site to see hehehe. :thumb:

Thanks LA, and thanks Doc for the pics.

Update coming soon!
