The70's Redux: SourDiesel - Mac1 - SuperSilverHaze - WhiteWidow

Its fact ! There are (4) seedlings being cared for like royalty. Im so happy i solved the temperature issue, leaving the mat plugged in and covering all of it with a big dome really kept things warm and humid. Whats really different is the soil is warm too, i use to start seedings off in much bigger pots that i couldn’t really keep warm, this is a journey for sure.

Four plants in my 4x4 will be wonderful ❤️

Removed the dome this morning, gave them a nice dose of PH’d water, bumped up their lites a bit, and so far so good.
Here are some numbers for my records.
Just for yuks the watts are 57. They have a nice oscillating fan, I like these new clear seedling cups, i’ll be able to see when the roots are circling the bottom.

You might want to rig up some sleeves or something to block light from the sides of those.
I've used transparent pots, short term, without problems before, but some growers have apparently had issues with root growth in them.

Ahhh so the roots get light and thats an issue, hmmm makes sense… thanx man

That was quick, just made some solo cup sleaves, thanx again

So, in keeping with this journal, im just trying to get a good handle on approx growth from germination to seedlings cause im a freak and i get all worked up.
I gotta get use to seedlings looking frail until a couple weeks pass…

With the new fancy clear cups i can now see root growth too.

Almost 3wks(2days shy of)

Hello all, just another seedling checkin. I was seeing some leaves with white (nonpowdery) tips. After reading, over watering and nitrogen deficiency can be a cause, so i waited a few day and added a few drops of CalMag+ to my water, then PH’d it to 6.5.

This little guy is on some kind of slow motion journey, coukd be just bad genetics, only thing in the soil is worm castings and perlite.

These ladies are doing fine, feeling a bit sturdier as the days roll along.

My guess next week Im gonna uppot and add some 444, castings, perlite. They are not root bound, but no sense in denying those little roots some food and mycorrhiza 😌

3wks above soil:

Today turned into an up pot day, those clear cups weren’t as bad as i thought they were gonna be as far as extracting the plant, it wasn’t great, and it wasn’t a disaster 😏

They are going into 2.6gal pots along with a cup and a half (for 8gal) of medium, GiaiGreen444, worm castings and perlite. My supervisor Lydia on hand if i get into trouble

(Just beginning) Week4

Four days into the transplant and the girls seem quite happy with everything like lights, water, soil. I have begun adding calmag+ (quarter dose) to my watering schedule since nitrogen is so helpful early on in growth. I may also look into added nutrients when im into flower, but we’ll see😊

Journals help me remember how to do what we do, its still not muscle memory yet

Hello all, did some Topping today, they have 3-4 good solid nodes. I’ll top one more time to create 4 new main branches, they are gonna be kinda quiet for a few day as they regroup. Very happy with how they look, i may boost the N as i go along. Im looking forward to boosting NPK during flower

Wk5:

I moved the ladies from the 2x4 nursery under the Quantum LED’s, to the 4x4 under the MedicGrow Fold-8.

I use a couple humidifiers just so theres always enough moisture, AC Infinity has middle size humidifier that would be perfect, but its still in beta testing

Im still adding calmag+ at 1/2 strenth, they seem to really like it, super green and happy, the high stress Topping didn’t seem to slow it down at all
