Berry.....M2 is what we are looking for,But we would love to grow 1 pound each single plant or even half pound.You have to understand we are at 500 grams per plant now ,we have stretched the limits of there genetics.If we can get to 600 to 1000 and push them we will be doing something. we ill be over a gram per watt this grow, we want to push 1.2 to 1.3 on the next.

8-16 oz per plant indoors??? No matter the genes or setup, i dont think thats a very attainable goal. If I am wrong please correct me, but the most I have ever heard of off of one single indoors plant was like 4 oz's...and it was huge. I just dont see plants getting that type of energy from any source but the sun.

I pulled 250 grams off of one indoor plant in dirt under a 400 watt hps. lst'd it a bunch. a 1000 should be able to pull off well over 400 grams, but i've never owened a light that big. my current setup is the biggest light i've ever owned and its a 600.

before pan lost his computer, he was doing a 1 plant - 1 pound journal i wanted to see finish, but who knows whats going on with that.

if it's doable, which it certainly is, Pit can do it, and do it big. I'll weigh in on the strain in a minute.

Berry.....We have 5 to 6 ounce plants all day in the garden now,But as i said we are at the genes limits of the plant, we also maxed out the system. The ebb cant hold a plant much bigger to many issues.dont want to put to much stress on the ladies my heart cant take it.

Got ya...its definately certain that the more plants u have the less each one of them will yield, unless they have adequate light(theory has something to do with the diminishing returns theory of economics.)

Ok Pit, so 500g a plant is 17.85 oz...so u are saying u are already pulling over a pound a plant? Im confused.

Berry...That is my exact problem,but if i get a better gene type the root mass will be the same just have a bigger plant.Also have a water issue with the bigger plants 25 gallons every 3 days they eat.

Obviously hydro has something to do with how much weight u get...they yield more but the smoke just isnt as good, IMO.

why cant you increase your plant count or scrog? that would def up your M2 yeild with same genes you know so well?

Obviously the smoke is in the expertise...but just from my experience, hydro buds are not as flavorful or as potent as buds grown in soil. But of course i only have one grow to personally compare this to, and I probably did something wrong.

Without a doubt, hydro is the way to go for pure weight...but I think THC content might suffer.

I really dont know how many 5-6 OZ plants there are...aprox 10-14 by my eye. You have to realize that we just cant take them w/o some damage being done. No doubt there are some 2-3 oz plants as well. Just the closest one on the edge is SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than the 5 oz plants we had before...they averaged 4.5 oz last time. I dont want to count the chickens yet but they are putting more weight on quickly. There isnt any room for more plants....20 femmed at 5 ft will do nicely.....we can stuff another 1K HPS in there and add maybe 5-6 plants but it will ve even more difficult to move around. Spiderpig suit is in constant use now....bondage lines to the cieling are being added daily.

Berry.....To be honest alot of strains do better in hydro,I can pump as much nute as the plants need instanly.I can also add sugar as needed. we beleave we can get bigger plant then dirt in less time 5 to 6 weeks veg 36 inches.As taste goes we do what we can with an end flush,but as fare as kick ass its top shelf.It will put you in a coma lol.Dont get me wrong there are top shelf dirt growers out there that are pros at what they do.Have alot of freind that grow dirt just for the fact thats where they started and they are comfortable there.We started in hydro and to us thats where our roots are.

I grew in soil for a long time before switching to Hydro. I'll never grow in soil again.
