Sooooo the wifey and I were just talking and I think we figured out what our mystery baby is.
Pretty sure it's la confidential.
I remember trying to pop one about 3 months ago and it never took and rather than pulling it to check. After 2 weeks I just stopped watering it. Pulled the cup. And set it in the closet away from the grow. I dumped that cup of dirt into my surplus dirt I keep for my next rounds of transplanting.

Perhaps it wasn't a dud and just never popped and the second time I started watering it then it came out?
It's either that or some random seed somehow found it's way into my transplant lol but this is my best guess at this point.
La confidential or mystery. Still a mystery but at least now we have something that makes sense

Me too. Lol my jaw dropped when she said la confidential. I was like "yeah what ever happened to that one" and then I was like oh shit! That never popped and I dumped the dirt back into the bucket after like a month of it sitting in the closet! Lol immediately it made sense

penny keeps showing a couple yellow leaves every few days. Still not concerned though
 
I'm thinking about adding silica, not for stem strength necessarily but if it helps with bug resistance. Van says you can use it as a foliar spray for bugs too.

Dosent sound like you have much of a choice now roost. The hen has... clucked. And you have your answer!
