So I think I did this right based on the examples in the postIn my opinion. No. After shaving the legs, it will be in auto pilot. However, I have only grown photos. Do with that what you will.

You can use the soft coated bendy wire to hold them down. I use styrofoam balls and have them grow around the balls.Hi Baron
I think I’ve driven my quadline into a ditch. Her shape doesn’t look quadliney.
How exactly are you meant to train those 4 arms?
Thats good, however, you have the one bent pretty hard. Keep the bends to no more than 90 degrees. My goal is to guide the shoots to just before the edge of the pot and let it go up from there. So I think I did this right based on the examples in the post
Got ya. I took the tie downs off after this pic. I read that I should wait a little longer to start tying them tied.Thats good, however, you have the one bent pretty hard. Snapping is a thing.
Snapping an auto will set you back.
I don't think that looks bad at all. The whole point of the quadline is to get the spread of the limbs in place early to allow for good air flow and it certainly looks like you've accomplished that!Hi Baron
As you can see, while she still looks nice and healthy, her shape is all wrong for a quadline. Under all those leaves is a quadline structure. I just can’t see it coz I trained her wrong.
I’m dropping a Barney’s Farm Mimosa X tomoz, hopefully I do better with her. I might get some advice when it comes time to train if that’s okay
Here’s the most unquadlined looking quadline in all of Quadlinesville!
Lolling!
Well, first off, its a saucy looking lass!Hi Baron

Thank you Azi, that’s nice of you to sayI don't think that looks bad at all. The whole point of the quadline is to get the spread of the limbs in place early to allow for good air flow and it certainly looks like you've accomplished that!
Well done, I say.
I think that’s where I have trouble. My veg tent is small, 70cm X 70cmWell, first off, its a saucy looking lass!
Yes its hard to see where the quad is in this and agree with Azimuth how the goal is to spread out the plant. I myself prefer to just have plants with 4 tops only, then stuff the tent with as many 4 tops as I can fit.
No I didn’t.If I were to guess, I'd say at some point you snipped the original 4 tops to make it 8 tops and let some of the off shoots carry on.
I’m interested in trying new shapes. I love that real quadline look.Thats personal preference....also known as a grow style.
I am testing 2 auto's. One quad, one straight, I doesn't slow them down. Give iot a day between cutting the bottom nodes and topping it.Can you quadline an auto? My autos tend to be smaller so I’d have a better chance of controlling her.
Thanks ScottI am testing 2 auto's. One quad, one straight, I doesn't slow them down. Give iot a day between cutting the bottom nodes and topping it.
Have fun.
Yea I propped it back up and within a few days it had stood back up and started back growing. I don’t wanna attempt any more training on it. I’m shell shockedProp it back up and let it heal. But that's why I like to Supercrop the limbs to get the angle started rather than just pulling them over to the side.
This one is a auto flower but I’m assuming the same rules applyI leave the ties (actually fishing weights in my case) on all the way through stretch.
I let my mains grow to the pot edge and then either let them turn up or top them depending. From there it will depend on how much height you have in flower for when to flip them. I don't have a lot of room so they get flipped once they reach the edges.
