Update : After forgetting to turn the timer off ,they got another days light to enjoy. lol. I did take the cookie Kush and Gz#4 out and into the dark for harvest tomorrow. This has made space but the floppy Gz are all over the place now. nightmare to arrange and i am relieved it wont matter about light position to bud whilenthey settle into the dark period for 24 hours tomorrow night. Did find a little more budrot in a gz but not enough to worry . Took some pics to show where they are at size wise and prior to their timely deaths. The Os could still keep goi g and looks lime a second flush is kicking off in her now ??. She looks huge and heavy with buds as do #1 + 3 of the Gz. All the buds look so beautiful too. Roll on the harvest and samplings

Harvest right around the corner. Those floppy Gz look to be a handful I better stock up on bamboo stakes now. Nice colors on the buds and I bet it smells incredible.

They are floppy sods !. i kept them going so well up till i decided to remove 2 for harvest dark time. The extra space has them swooning all over.lol very heavy buds and cant hold themselves up. These girls need a cane each stem. lesson learnt for next time i do this strain. The os is similar too. grows a similar way to the gz too. They do smell amazing now. room stinks like old skool skunk as soon as i lift the loft hatch but each girls aroma is so fruity sweet when touched. trim jail awaits !!. Thanks for the comments N.

Update day 53 flowering: Yay. trimmed up the 1st 2 victims last night ( well a.m. lol) The Cookie Kush and Gorilla zkittelz #4 are the smallest of the grow and both looked very ready after their 24 hours dark. Trim jail with these two was fun with their floppy , unsupported limbs unable to hold the weight of their thc full buds. I normally dont trim until dried completely but with the bud rot issue i have to remove as many potential mould factories as i can for the slow dry.
I took Gz#2 and P.og out last night for their 24 hours darkness so it is their turn tonight !!
The extra space created with 4 out has allowed the remaining girls to stretch out more , exposing some of their lowers to some full par/lumen light. The orange Sherbet does look like she is still happy to continue on and has a good number of new pistils out and sunning themselves. She is showing some fading signs on a couple of leaves now though so she should now realise there is no more food coming and get working on those stores.

Nice and fat looking buds GG. I’m interested in what your yield is compared with what you normally pull from Hps as well. From the pictures those buds look heavy and sometimes surprise come final weights.

Thanks Dd. I am glad to get the harvest started now finally. All looking so frosty and ripe. The os is starting another flush of pistils and has about a week at most. I am pushing the last 2 huge gz too. I usually pull them out at first signs of amber . but these are so wanting to keep showing their fattening up skills and can go to 9 weeks too. I do thinknthat starting flowering count after stretch is possibly too hopeful regarding timings matching ect... lesson learnt as they are ready early according to my counting yet their ripeness and all brown hairs suggest an older mature lady.Nice work, mate!

On the personal best thing , who knows?? lol . soon find out mate.heehee. the nugs are solid and very heavy on hand so they may surprise me there. Looking at the trimmed smaller 2 doesnt help either.lol
Always look like rescued animals after trimming , all skinny and scalped. The pog smells so sweet DD. she is "sweating" without doubt in the dark. You can see it when light catches them. She has lots of smaller buds but some nice mains too. Gz 2 is a shocker too. took her with the pog and seeing her up close and her fat nugs was a shock. she looked so small in the corner between the 2 biggest sister Gz's too.
Have the 1st dried sample of a fallen Os bud too. Dried a little too quickly in the box but the other fallen soldiers with her are still drying slowly. It smokes very smooth for a quicker , non flushed bud and my mouth actually tastes like i have had oranges. very impressed. Thanks for the comments mate. hope your all good fella ?.

Thanks Lewy. I do think they are a lot more solid than the hps but the lowers are nowhere near as compkete as with hps. My next plan is an sp250 in the middle for penetration and a wider spread for coverage too. I think the remaining 4 still going will pull the yield around well. I am kicking myself for the lack if calmag for so long and do think it stunted the smaller ones who showed the deficiency for it. Lesson learnt in L.e.d on this one. Roll on the fastbuds auto run next.

Nice looking harvest Gg.Must be tricky trimming all the buds and leaving them on the plant like that makes for some cool pictures. I tried to get my wife to trim like that for pictures I got a big fat No on that one lol.

I have to pay her way above minimum wage mate. lol
I usually dont touch the plants till bone dry then dry trim but with the mould i need them as bare as possible. can be a pain but keeps the leaves upright and easier to snip out. I am dreading the rest as rhey are a lot bigger than these two done so far. last 4 in are now spread over the same area as all the 8 original ones.lol . left the pog and gz#2 in death row dark till tomorrow night too. hate trim jail. thanks for the comments mate.

Mrs Gg is great when trim jail sentence aŕrives. She puts up with my constant garden chatter too. She is far neater than me at it .lol
My wife & I harvest together a bunch.
Most times, we just post up in our recliners with a cookie sheet or bowl in our lap. Watch a ball game & trim. It's quite peaceful.
