The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Weekly Update: The Tents - January 13, 2017

Candy Cane Auto (Day 40) She's responding nicely to the SWICK. It's time to get her tied down. Sitting on the reservoir it becomes more necessary to control the vertical growth.

I've been filling the reservoir every two days.

While I was in here playing around I took the time to wipe everything down with Dr. Bronner's soap.

I remembered to turn the red lights back on. You have no idea how often I've forgotten to do this. :laughtwo:

Cleaning up as I go, tools go where they belong. Slowly but surely I've begun defining spaces. The place is still evolving into mine.

I didn't spend much time in here today. The humidity was good enough I didn't want to throw it out of whack.

Carn1:4 (Day 92, Flip +5) She had a water-only drench yesterday. Going about five days between drenches.

My solution to the humidity problem. Worked like a dream. Now I have a direction to follow. :blunt:

good job sue !! :)

Thank you Professor. :hugs: It's always good to see you around. This doing weekly updates appeals to me. It also surprises me how quickly the week passes. :laughtwo: Invariably I'm rushing to get it posted before midnight. lol!

I think it sure does. A couple of years ago we had an earthquake. Mrs kB grabbed the remote as she was running out the door made it Down 6 flights of stairs and outside before she realized it was not her phone, but the remote. Oh dear :-). Poor thing.

:laughtwo: You guys'll be laughing about that for years to come.

Good morning everyone.

Wow! I was in bed before midnight and slept a full 8 1/2 hours! :yahoo: That hasn't happened but once before since Dale slipped into the death spiral. Hmmmm...... I hadn't considered the ECS may be responding to Playful Awakening by resetting sleep parameters back to normal. :laughtwo: That explains why I'm getting sleepy around midnight lately. I've grown so used to all-nighters that it confused me. Lol!

Ok, I'll have to give that a little more thought today. Sweet though, eh? You know what it means?????

This was the last lingering effects of grief, waiting to be casually dropped by the side of my path. I'm healed.

I'm healed.

That smacked into me a little harder than I expected it to, so I'm letting it roll through as I continue typing. Sleep is such an important part of the health equation. I've rationalized my way through these many months, often wondering if I'd reset to some new senior citizen mode. I'll listen more closely to my body going forward and begin winding down earlier in the evening.

Oh my lord guys, all this damned maturity. Lol! It must be time for a righteous wake 'n bake. Let me make some "Oooooo....Oatmeal" to accompany the BioBomb Brownie. It's Saturday. Let the joy explode!! :slide: :yahoo: :slide:

good job sue !! :)

I went back and reviewed it again and realized how much it played out as a post geared for you. Meeting you changed the way I think of my posting, and when I get wordy I always try to balance it with more pictures. You helped me define my style. I don't thank you enough for that.

Have a wonderful day Professor.

:hugs:  :hugs:

4dutch, you also have learned to make butter :)

Hi all :hugs:

I made some butter this morning and into hubby cookies. This time I was careful with how much I nibbled. (one crumb) but, I decided to roll the cookie dough into round balls and flatten them out on the tray....bad idea.
This was cookies made of 43 gr decarbed bud to 280 gr of butter. I was hit by a freight train i the afternoon and once again, blood pressure went to low mode and I passed out.

I know skin absorbs, didn't know it was THAT powerful. ( each cookie had 1 gr of weed in it and I made 50 pieces.)

Whoa cool (Butthead voice)

healing reflections

Years ago I read a commencement speech by some general, who's name I've long since forgotten, in which he extolled the virtues of making one's bed in the morning. Just recently it became a habit of mine.

It does create a sense of peace in the space.

Hey Sue, nice haul on the 420 gear. I know this will get scrubbed out but when I saw it I knew I wanted to post it here.
Not sure if its P shopped but who cares it's zen :blunt:

Hab

And I absolutely loved it Hab. :hugs::hugs::hugs: I moved it to my Spot so it wouldn't be lost completely. Yeah.... I'm pretty sure it was photoshopped, but how delightful nonetheless. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hello Sue! You really got some action going there, I like your room with the tents. I got a question, how far you got your lights from the plants? I got my Mars light some 14 inches away and my Herer is like 10 inches from my 250W HPS, temps are low, so no worry about overheating. Having lights as close as possible really helps with the flowering process, thus yield. I like the Swick system very interesting. I too got together an irrigation system. It's called Olla (spanish for pot) and I got a thread about it in the DIY section: Here . It's basically terracotta vase buried in ground used for millenniums. Nothing new but forgotten.
