The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I have to ask.... why would one place one's 'heater' in the freezer? I'd actually worry a bit about doing that. Perhaps it could cause some minor warpage in smaller pieces...

Oh wait!!!! Was it a stoner moment like I occasionally have where I put my cell phone in the fridge instead of some random food item?
No I don't smoke so a stoner moment won't happen to me (yet) I don't even know if it's a good idea to have guns around when you're high but I don't judge it because I don't know. I do know for a fact that alcohol and guns are not going hand in hand.

But well... that hot gun in the freezer? That was one moment where I just thought it was a good idea but didn't think it all the way through. My ice cream melted... I was sad about that but the gun was cooled off atleast?

So what if I use a half of Critical and half of strain with higher THC when making butter/oil? Or maybe I will just give him dry Critical to vape as he wakes up?

Mixing the strains for a blended medication is highly recommended. You're catching on Birdie. :battingeyelashes:

Cajun recommended CBD Critical Cure on a morning he'd tested it out himself. He grew it for a patient, I believe. He experienced an almost instantaneous reduction of his own PTSD symptoms without overwhelming euphoria. It gave him an instant sense of well-being, and made him think of my daughter's needs.

I highly recommend you look into this strain.

Good morning everyone

Some of us use our freezers for food... color us crazy!
Alternate quip.... Damn... ya needs ya a bigger freeze box baby!

:laughtwo: When I finally relocate the plan is to have a small deep freezer to drop all things cannabis into. First I have to figure out where I'm going. I also need to clean that freezer out. I stopped eating red meat when Dale died, and cut way back on the amount of chicken I eat as well. Half of what's in those baskets is meat I purchased before he died in June of 2015. It's the last bit of that part of my life that I don't intend to keep that needs removed from the premises.

That thought disturbed me so much I followed the happier impulse and made it right in my world.

There we go. :cheesygrinsmiley: Thank you Tead, for the swift kick. :kisstwo:

Time to rev up the joy and share it at every opportunity my friends. That flavor of joyful expression that's uniquely you adds a special twist to the cosmic tones. Make yours loud. Let's play. :slide: :green_heart:

:laughtwo: I wander around looking for things muttering "It's 725 square feet Susan! This thing I'm seeking is huge! It shouldn't be possible to lose anything in this tiny space!" I had a laugh at the vision of you opening the freezer to grab some food item to have the phone yell "TaaDaa!" :laughtwo:

the remote control for tv counts too???

Absolutely Birdie. You gotta love the delights of a decent buzz, eh?

Speaking of decent buzzes..... One of the ultimate pleasures of this writer's lifestyle I've decided to follow is that I have the benefit of mind-expanding meds. I'm standing here furiously typing away, determined to get the entire thought down before it wanders off - there are startling similarities to what I'm experiencing and what Elizabeth Gilbert describes as the creative process in full swing in her latest book "Big Magic."

I've taken to working part of the day standing at the workbench in the kitchen, my storage area for the brownies. In the middle of a sentence I realized I'd unconsciously reached up to let the hand hover above the brownies, feeling for the perfect one to kick the mind further into the stratosphere.

This one should do nicely. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Back to my play. :ciao:

Look at her bounce back! I had her out for feeding. She's 79 days old and suddenly looking like a serious contender. :laughtwo:

IMG_337414.JPG

IMG_337511.JPG

A little messy in there.

IMG_337615.JPG

Cleaned her up a bit, taking off what I know I won't be leaving on when she flips anyway. Why make her work that hard right now, eh?

IMG_337711.JPG

See that branch asking to be cloned? :laughtwo: I'm doing my best to resist that temptation. Lol!

The trimmed parts that can be used. They got tossed into a freezer bag of trimmings. I recently learned that these immature cuttings are full of CBGA, a good anti-inflammatory. Cool! More data to file away.

IMG_337815.JPG

The bits that get tossed. I was much impressed with how few bad leaves she now has. :blunt:

IMG_337916.JPG

Rich, healthy color. She's come a long way.

IMG_338014.JPG

Back in her slot. Interesting how the light brings out different tones. You can see how improved she is.

See? She just needed a few days to get her feet back under her :)

I was surfing down the page when my wife woke up, looked over and saw this pic on the screen. She says, "mmm that sure looks good". I told her that is is much better than she realizes and told her what was in it.

Looks I will be having to make up some brownies for the weekend {there are no "eating" emojis, darn it}

Have a great day Sue :circle-of-love:

:laughtwo: Tell the wife I said "You're welcome." Lol! It's an eye-catching picture, isn't it? I'll have to save it for analysis. I'm working in a book, and we all know it's going to have to be visually appealing or it won't fly with me. There's something special about that particular picture.

Thank you for setting it in front of me again. I believe there was a purpose for that. :battingeyelashes:

If you follow the BioBomb recipe be alert. It hits within five to ten minutes and it doesn't creep up on you. Rather it swings by, sweeps you off your feet and tosses you onto the back of that fast-moving motorcycle. :cheesygrinsmiley: If you further potentiate with the longer decarb your ride is even sweeter. Rifleman described it as riding that speeding motorcycle downhill on ice.

Such a close description I can feel it just reading that. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Start small.

All these brownie posts... been making me crave some edibles. Think I'll make some raspberry lemon sugar cookies before the girlfriend and I's trip to RI. Are those... gooey? By an chance...

Edit: anyone using the android app and running into self thanking posts? I'm not THAT into myself haha

:laughtwo: "Like" buttons out of control! Lol!

I've been warned about cookies and cannabis. The concern is the potential for the high temps to convert the THC. I don't see this as so much a problem with something as dense as brownies or possibly something like oatmeal cookies. I don't see any reduction in potency in my brownies, and they cook at 350 F.

I can see the potential for this with a thinner, less dense sugar cookie. Sometimes they cook at higher temperatures as well. I once made a batch of cannalavender cookies, which are essentially a butter cookie. They gave me nowhere near the anticipated buzz.

I have a course waiting to be watched over at Green Flower Media on canna cooking. I'll check there later and see if I can pin this down a little better.

Great thread Sue!
Youve got a great attitude!
When my kids were small I never hid the joint. You dont hide your beer. Theres nothing wrong with it so why hide it. I did try not to roll in front of them but if they walked in, please dont hide it.
This threads out of my league!!!!! maybe one day!! Ive just jumped to the beautiful step of growing FIRE from seed!!!!
Great Day Sue and I love your attitude!

4dutch, you also have learned to make butter :)

Hi all :hugs:

I made some butter this morning and into hubby cookies. This time I was careful with how much I nibbled. (one crumb) but, I decided to roll the cookie dough into round balls and flatten them out on the tray....bad idea.
This was cookies made of 43 gr decarbed bud to 280 gr of butter. I was hit by a freight train i the afternoon and once again, blood pressure went to low mode and I passed out.

I know skin absorbs, didn't know it was THAT powerful. ( each cookie had 1 gr of weed in it and I made 50 pieces.)

You have a delightful day yourself 4Dutchess. This thread is in everyone's league. :battingeyelashes: Our intent is to take all this technical jargon, figure out what the hell it's trying to tell us, (we're crazy curious around here) and then find a way to make that understanding easier for you to grab hold of.

Every time someone asks a question and we ferret out the answers we make another connection to the clarity we're working for. If anything catches your eye and stirs your curiosity, ask a question and the adventure of discovery begins. I'm learning the importance of listening to your inspirations. They're little clues to the next step along the path. We should explore them, and have fun doing it. :battingeyelashes:

One of the things we're learning is how important that happy attitude is for a healthy ECS. Laugh more. It's really much better for your health than we all thought. :laughtwo: I'm kinda obsessed with the idea these days. The crew's being indulgent while I work it all out to my satisfaction.

In case I don't communicate it often enough, you all have my undying appreciation for your tolerance of my eccentricities. :laughtwo:

 :hugs:

Another valuable lesson to add to the list Birdie. Next time use the bottom of a glass to smash them down. Other than your blood pressure drop - something you know now to be particularly aware of - that's a nice wallop per cookie. Nice way to control the dose girl. :high-five: My kinda dose too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hi SweetSue :hugs: Hi all

HI rik, nice to see you found your way to Sue's garden.:)

It is cookies made from canna butter. And they are made easily it takes about 1 1/2 hr for them to kick in. But it beats smoking a joint and get a cough.
I have posted a recipe n the eatable section. Shortbread.

Hey AngryBird! Well I've been around for a while on here on Sue's posts. I only kept myself quiet a long time and also the last 3 4 weeks were pretty busy.

Anyway well... Cookies... I don't recommend it for myself because well they're cookies and I eat cookies like there is no tomorrow. And if it beats a joint? Oh damn. I don't smoke actually but maybe I will if my plants are done and when I got myself a fancy nice pipe! So I don't think that Canna Cookies will be on my dinner plate anytime soon bit thanks anyway

Weekly Update: The Tiny Closet - Friday, January 13, 2017

Good evening everyone. Let's take a stroll through the grow spaces, shall we?

IMG_338416.JPG

Dark Devil 5 (Day 61) She's slipping into the final two weeks. Pistils are beginning to change, and her smell is incredible. Today was a thorough watering nothing added.

Carn2:1 Emerald (Day 80) She's still getting a nutrient mix for aggressive vegetation. Another week and I believe I'll be ready to flip her.

IMG_339217.JPG

IMG_339414.JPG

CBD Critical Cure (Day 32) I watered her thoroughly today. I'm fairly certain she's going to get through the span I need her to. She's holding nicely. This was before her drink.

And after. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Weekly Update: The Clone Shelf - Friday, January 13, 2017

It's 33 days into flowering. The smells that waft out of this space when lights go out is unbelievable.

IMG_339713.JPG

Carn1:3 (Day 95) She got a light water today. I already had her completely wet when I realized it could have been her first CAT, so I cut it off a little earlier than I would have.

IMG_339813.JPG

IMG_33997.JPG

The Carn2 clones are accelerating faster than Carn1:3.
