The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Re: The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Returnight

I need more fans.

Are we having fun yet? Get out there and spread that joy as only you can. Back to work now guys. We have to at least pretend we're being responsible. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

You have tons of fans. Lots of subscribers.

Member of the year needs more fans. Ha! I need more fans.

(tries to hang his head in shame)

  OK. That was a deliberate misrepresentation

Glimmer, you're so sweet. :laughtwo: I must admit, it took me a couple days to adjust, but today I feel like the daily doses are beginning to have the desired effect. I suddenly lost my craving for sweets and stopped having the munchies. Whew! That's dangerous territory for SweetSue. I'm not young enough that the 15 lbs I picked up over vacation will be a simple thing to lose. *sigh*. It was worth it to spend time with her.

Don't you guys ever let me go away for that long again!!!

Dropped some seeds tonight.

The four on the right wil be in LOS. The four on the left in Doc Bud's HighBrix Blend soil. I start them all under CFLs, so I still have time to decide on lights. Hehehe. Lights. I have more lights coming. :slide:

Oh yeah, glimmer, that's one beautiful Dark Devil Auto. Dang! I started the community grow thread hoping to inspire a few cultivators. You guys have taken it and run away with my vision. I couldn't be more thrilled at the numbers we've managed to entice to grow these delightful and potent darlings. You see, I'm planting another one. :laughtwo:

What do you think guys, are we ready for a community grow of Carnival?

HELL, YEAH! Sue is popping seeds and taking numbers! Can't wait to see what you do that the Med Gom Auto -- I have seeds for it for I don't have room or time right now, so I will experience it vicariously through you :)

And I'm totally in for a Carnival grow -- loved that girl from the first time I saw her in your journal, and if Ministry of Cannabis really comes out with an auto version of it this year, that will be AMAZING.

I'm glad the medication is kicking in -- must feel so good to be getting back to normal.

Have a great day!

In Dylan's voice ... "Everybody needs more fans". Most of my fans eventually wither and die ...

What does that say about me? :hmmmm:

You guys just crack me up!!! :laughtwo: Now I won't be able to look at an occilitating fan without bursting out into spontaneous laughter.

Keltic, you dribble the caramel in straight lines and then you drag a knife through it to get that lovely organic design. I was just noting to myself that this one in particular took on the appearance of a plant didnt it? I hadn't noticed that before.

Well, the toilet runs worse than before the fix. LOL! I knew I should have gone out and bought the replacement piece myself. Anyway, the cups are all in place under the lights. This time I'm going with 20/4 lighting. I'll adjust the photos as I go, but the autos are all 20/4 seed to harvest.

Everybody starts out in the tiny closet under CFLs.

Holding my breath now.

breathe darling blue is not your color

Morning Sue!!! I will have to take a picture of Suzy for you today. She is out growing her pot and needs a transplant. May have to enlist my wife's help with that since my back is still not great and I think I may have given myself a hernia last week. Have to see the Dr. Oh well. Another day. :) :peace:

So sorry to hear this supergroomer. You know the only way through this is being super gentle with yourself. Time heals all things, but we have to curb our enthusiasm for a bit.

I'll swing by your yard and check up on the girls. :hugs:

I lost a day again. Thought yesterday was Sunday. Hmmmmm....... Time to get back on track girl.

Off to the post office to finally get some things shipped out. I'm trading in the water distiller for an oil distiller. My thinking is the closed system on the essential oil distiller will be a better choice for me, since I don't have the mad DUY skills I'd Cajun or Canna to convert my water one over. I still have to see what shipping charges are, so if they're too high I may rethink the decision and use this unit.

Of course it's snowing today. The post office is merely a block away. There are definite advantages to living in an urban area. A trip to the post office, some brunch, some exercise and sorting and some study to balance out the day. All those weeks of being spoiled and pampered I didn't have to think much about food. You forget how much time keeping yourself fed takes when you lack organization. :laughtwo: I need to get a system back in place to see that the incidentals get taken care of.

No change yet on the seeds. Not that we should have expected any within 24 hours, eh. :laughtwo:

Alright people, get out there and spread that joy. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Sue, what is the story with the bags over the cups? It looks like you're trying to mimic what Toast does with his clones or something. I only ask because I did something similar with seeds and close proximity cfl lights once. The plastic caused a greenhouse effect and it fried the seedlings and killed them dead as soon as they poked their heads up. Judging by the amount of condensation going on the temperatures under the plastic are obviously quite high.

All those YEARS of being spoiled and pampered for most of us guys. This family wants fed every frickin' day.

In the last week, I made: a lasagna tray full of Mac and Cheese, 3 gallons of chili, 2 lbs of swedish meat balls, A lasagna tray of cheesy potatoes, and 3 lbs of hamburger meat as loose meat sandwiches. We have a few servings of the meat dishes left and half the tray of cheesy potatoes.

Two slender teenagers and they eat like bears.

I was going to ask you if you were sure about the plastic bags -- but I see PeeJay asked.

You know what PeeJay? I believe you're right. I'd been thinking about it in the back of my mind, the proximity to the light being my foremost consideration. Geez PeeJay, you make it a habit of saving me from myself, don't you? I sure am glad you keep peeking over my shoulder. I have no ego, so I don't mind being a shining example of how not to do it.

Here you go...... Sanity returns.

I'm here for you, Bra. Like I said, it seemed like a good idea to me once upon a time but... not so much. :circle-of-love:

I just removed the bag from my seed as well after reading this. Thank you!

Yesterday's delivery, the lovely tent from Mars Hydro as part of my prize package. Carried it straight up the two flights and 40 steps. Not bad for a little old grandma. LOL! It might be time to take the decorations down Susan.

I'm sitting in the cold stairwell waiting on another delivery. I underestimated both the severity of the chill and the length of time this might take. The extremities are beginning to complain. I may need to be satisfied with leaving a note on the door and hope he'll call. Tomorrow I can be better prepared. At the very least I need tea and oatmeal, gloves and a throw. There we go girl, a plan of action. :battingeyelashes:

I could probably learn something from your more relaxed approach to all of this...

I frantically tore apart my closet yesterday with a plan of adding 160 watts of T5 bulbage. Managed to build a new light rack, hang the new lights and seal off my closet, all while causing major trauma to one of my plant's branches, shattering 2 CFL bulbs and straining my back... There goes 6 hours of my time...

I apologize for the derail. I'm new here.

Nice beans! Here's hoping they sprout quick and grow big and strong.
