On to the rest of the charges. :battingeyelashes:  Starting in the lonely auto tent.

Train Wreck (Day 16) Still not ready for her topping. I need more space between the top to be removed and the secondary growth coming behind.

I have another Industrial Plant seed soaking. I'll be smarter with this one and start it in the Rapid Rooter soaked in aloe vera with the seed rolled in mycorrhizal. No f'n around here. I'm down to one seed left of this one and I have yet to get one to succeed in growing out. I need this CBD strain to replenish.

On to the amazing Dark Devil Auto 4. (Day 75)

So purple it's black. Another dark one. :slide: I don't know what I'm doing right, but I'm not gonna question it.

The LOS clones. The two larger ones with the potassium deficiency, I'm not sure if they're worth the effort.

IMG_108451.JPG

The HB clones. They are worth the effort. :laughtwo: #2, front and center here, has at least nine good tops. She's getting the biggest pot available and going into the corner of the flowering tent.

The whole crew.

IMG_108740.JPG

That's it for tonight. Time for that buzz I started a couple hours ago and forgot about. :laughtwo: I think I've earned it now. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Thank you so much for stopping and sharing. Have a seat, share a toke and enjoy the conversation.

:passitleft: :passitleft: :passitleft: :passitleft:

I'll be joining in the fun and hope to be seeing you around the yards.

:Namaste:

Question for the HB crew: is it acceptable to transplant on the day you flip and expect her to catch up with root development, or is it advisable to give them more veg time before flipping? I seem to recall Doc transplants right at flip.

Any thoughts? :battingeyelashes:

Hi Sue! Looking awesome in here! Your Carnival is going to finish amazing for sure. Your soil project looks interesting. Keep up the good work!

:passitleft:

Thanks ween. Good to see you. You did a good job saving your own plants. Been there, done that. You give me hope for my Carnival. Your well wishes are appreciated. :battingeyelashes:

:passitleft:

Sure, another. Why not?

:passitleft:

whoa Sue, awesome looking carnival. That's gonna be a huge harvest!! Thank you for all the help. The way peeps are talking it sounds like I wasted a lot of soil doing this transplant from 3 gal to 10 at time of flip. I hope im not too disappointed. Quick question, here in the last year or two I have seen hundreds of people growing out this Dark Devil strain. Whats all the hype? I haven't seen people grow out a strain this adamantly since maybe super lemon haze and blue dream or maybe sour d (and a few others of course). Is it THAT good?

My thoughts are fine to transplant at flip... last round I transplanted after flip with flowers and all.. did a write up on transplanting large flowering plants.

It worked no problem never even skipped a beat. Just be careful, take your time and keep the root ball intact. I sprinkle some Mycos on the roots ... water and into the flower room. Good to go.

The plant will be much happier with more soil than root bound for 60+ days.

OMG, I wrote down exactly what you told me to in my edit of signature and it still gave me this. UGH, this is so stressfull and im out of stress relief.

All you need to do is put a bracket, one of these [ in front of the first URL in that line.

Try it. And take a slow, deep breath cannaruss. It'll all work out. :hugs:

:laughtwo: Yes indeed cannaruss, those of us who grow the DDA are completely mesmerized by her beauty, fragrance and that magnificent buzz. If I have it on hand it's what I reach for almost every time. I try to be responsible and switch to a softer indica for evenings, but that doesn't always work. The Dark Devil Auto holds a charm all her own.

When you get her right the high is borderline hallucinogenic. What more can you ask of a fragrant, tasty, beautiful bunch of flowers?

I have some right here waiting for me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'll do this with the clones, or at least this is my inclination. I really can't miss with them. I'm not so certain about the Carnival, now 23 days into the flip and ready for her first CAT. But those clones could do something amazing transplanted and flipped.

Hehe! This is fun. :laughtwo:

For what it's worth, I up-potted my first 3 plants in flower tent. When I harvested the root balls were still 1 gal size. I looked like they didn't even try to expand roots. Only benefit of extra soil was to keep pots from drying out as quickly. Otherwise my conclusion is that there is little to no benefit to up-potting in the flower tent.

I'm curious KR, did you dust the root balls with mycorrhizal fungi when you transplanted those girls?

Anyone recognize this one? It's perched on my bathroom wall, inside the clone area, sucking up the heat. I don't think I need to be concerned, I'm mostly curious.

Looks like a "kissing bug" or to be more scientific a "Triatominae" bug

Thank you Greensmurf. I went looking and I believe you may be right. It's a perfect match. Let's not take any chances and deliver it outdoors in the morning.

Most of it's still drying. I did a little cleaning up. One of the best smelling strains I've grown. An olfactory delight. :battingeyelashes:

Check the brackets in your signature. My guess is you're missing one because there's an unpaired bracket in front of link. Of course as is I have no problem figuring out where it goes. So now off I go!:surf:

Nope. I used smart pots and soaks after I transplanted, but didn't have live soil then. I'm using live soil and dusting the ones I just transplanted. I'm giving them another week of veg before moving to tent, but I plan to check root development. I'm sure the soil I was using before contributed to lack of root growth. Still getting used to LOS and what to expect from it.

By the way, I just picked up a bunch of amendments to mineralize my live-but-not-DBHBB soil for plants in progress before I got the kit. Cool that you were amending your soil back on pg 418 (all of 15 min ago they way this forum moves.) Good timing because that's what I'm researching tonight. :Namaste:

Good call. :high-five:

Glad I could help. I've seen these buggers in my house once or twice. I originally thought they were stink bugs too. A few years ago my wife was freaking out thinking it was a roach. I knew it wasnt a roach and I had to go online and set her at ease. That's when I realized that stink bugs are a little different in color and have a slightly wider body.
