Alright. I just need to put this out there as a question for all of you.

I just read an article that says legalization in CA will mean smuggling weed into Mexico from CA do to it's higher potency. According to the article, 2% THC in Mexican and 30%+ in cannabis from CA. They worry about the side effects of the high power high on people not used to it. They warned that people would hallucinate. I have smoked, vaped, tacked, and ingested a lot of weed in my time. I have gotten really high. But I have never hallucinated from cannabis. Have you?

That rates a ten on the smoke scale if you get ethereal. They'll throw out any scare tactic they can. Hard to believe the return to "Reefer Madness" is where they decided to go. Lol! This isn't the 1940s anymore. Wake up already.

California's gonna go with recreational. There's no stemming the tide after that. As California goes, so goes the nation.

I am going to be taking a break. I just wanted you to know that I Bred an Auto Destroyer with a DDA. I should have some seeds soon and I have more fem DDA pollen so I will be on a pheno hunt and full on auto grow in my next journal. I have closed out the other with parting words because I am switching gears entirely when I return.
I hope to see you around here again in a few weeks and I am certain I will SS you ain't goin nowhere Thank you for everything and helping me on with my journey. You are a Lady of the finest class and it has been humbling to have been blessed by you.

If you're speaking in response to the propaganda debacle in CA, I couldn't agree more. They're scared and this proves it. We stay loving, calm, focused on the task at hand. Around here that meant starting another batch of cannabutter.

Ya thats a bit screwy! I have never hallucinated from solely cannabis for sure some bud can be slightly (meaning barely) trippy but thats much different from hallucinating lol

A relaxing Sunday morning....

This was the least amount of mess I created making butter. From now on I'll stick to one pound of butter at a time. It's only me I make it for.

Wait for it to set, cut it to size and store. I had my oatmeal mix this morning without, and it was wrong, so wrong. I'm looking forward to a batch made with Carnival buds and buds only. I haven't tried that yet. What an indulgence.

Daily Update: Carnival #2, Day 96 (flip + 16)

She's pissed at me.

She's really working on building the buds though, so I can't really complain, can I?

Those leaves aren't looking good at all, and I'm trying my best to ride it out. She's still pretty moist in the soil region. I was looking back and realized that at an early stage she wasn't taking as much water as her companion Carnival, so it's entirely possible this is just a case of overwatering. If so, it's a pronounced case, and it's making me a bit nervous.

Waiting for her to dry out. Doc said don't give her any foliars while she dries out. Otherwise I'd have hit her with a DeStress today. I'm taking the attitude that she'll be just fine in the end.

I have had the exact same looking clawing on top leaves on plants the got root bound. That girl is a beast and I'm sure she has a massive root ball, but I can't imagine that being the problem in a 10gal? pot.

AS you stated, the flower production look s normal, could just be a genetic trait. Ride it on out

Why thank you Arctic. The butter came out real nice. My best batch to date. Smaller batches are the key for me. One pound at a time.

Thank you GG. That's exactly what I'm making myself do. The flowers look outstanding. I have to keep faith in the plant. I can't imagine she's root bound. If she is why isn't she drinking more water? Quite a mystery that won't be solved until I harvest. As long as she blooms and frosts up I'm ok.

Daily Update: Sunday, October 30, 2016

I believe today marks the end of the very first year of growing by arteekay and Jay. What a year they've shared with us! If I know arteekay he has a retrospective in the works. I'll have to stay alert for the possibility.

Good evening everyone. We've checked on the first batch of clones and Carnival, so we might as well finish up with the rest. Let's start in the auto tent.

Train Wreck Auto (Day 9) Her little leaves are reaching for the light. This is a good sign. I anticipate a growth spurt.

Early Miss (Day 45) Coming into the end. She's scheduled to be harvested starting next Sunday.

She smells of ripe apples. Anyone else get this with theirs?

I'm assured she's great evening, winding down meds. The friend who recommended her for me for daytime isn't as certain any longer (after having gotten to know me better) that it's a high enough octane for me. We'll see. It may be a good one for the daughter to begin exploring the world of THC. She's begun to express an interest and I'm looking for the right strain. She's definately not a sativa-dominant woman like her mother.

We've had a couple warmer days. Even with windows and doors open heat is an issue in this tent. Great light, but it creates a lot of heat. The light started blinking again too. I'm too frustrated to deal with it right now, and it's only sporadic. I'll contact Advanced again. *sigh*

The Carn2 clones. (Day 5) Tomorrow they all go onto the clone shelf.

Emerald (Day 5) She got the reservoir flushed and started on nutes at 3/4 tsp/gallon. Next feeding I'll bump it up another 1/4 tsp. I figure Tead knows what the hell he's talking about. It's worth a shot. She's a healthy little thing. I'd like to keep her like that.

Ahhhh..... Dark Devil Auto 4 (Day 68) Easily another two weeks to go. Unruly looking thing, isn't she? Lol! She reflects the spirit of her canna mom - couldn't care less what anyone thinks.

She's just gonna be her own stunning self and let everyone else do what they will. Isn't she beautiful?

The replacement for DDA4. I need another CBD auto to keep ahead of capsule demand.

She gets planted right in the middle there. I can light her up nice and close with the CFLs I already have over there, just repositioned to be over the seedling. Then she's nice and tightly-noded from the start, just the way SweetSue prefers.

And that's the nickel tour ladies and gentlemen. I'm feeling pretty good about the future prospects of this grow. I decided to try an pay attention and start a new edition of this grow at page 500. That'll be my cutoff point from now on. Every 500 pages start a new edition. That'll keep us from becoming too intimidating.

Ahhhh......... Now for that cup of coffee waiting for me. I just remembered I have a shot of Kahlua and some DDA tincture to add to that. Mmmmmm......top it off with whipped cream and call it my "Devil's Delight" coffee.

What an update, and I'm not just saying that because of the hugely thrilling callout way up top.

The official anniversary is actually tomorrow at 4pm. I actually hadn't planned much of a tribute to it, but I really should throw something together for tomorrow night. Maybe make it the end of that Journal and start a new perpetual for the second year.
