The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

How's about a daily update before midnight? :battingeyelashes:

Daily Update: Friday, July 22, 2016

Good afternoon all :hugs: Lets take a peek into the closet and see what they're up to today.

image14867.jpeg

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 34) I'm impressed with how this one's coming along. We've quite a ways to go, but I'm going to get a load of tops out of this.

image14868.jpeg

I did a fun post over at Pigeon's video journal on my training session with her today. That can be found Here.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 32) She's running out of time.

image14869.jpeg

She's got nice color though. Maybe I'll let her keep going until the next one's big enough to transplant in.

image14870.jpeg

Industrial Plant (Day 4) I feel better with this one. I'm keeping the perlite outside that cube moist to coax the roots out. This one has better color and a stronger energy than the last seedling in here.

image14871.jpeg

That's all for right now everyone. Get out there and be joyful now. I'm being joyful at home today. The train club guys are FINALLY coming in for the collection and I have it all stacked in the hall waiting for them. I'll have to take pictures of the pile and post on my spot. It's an impressive stack. Dale would be proud. :battingeyelashes:

I've been clearing the workbench off in hopes of getting it out of my bedroom today or tomorrow at the latest. Then I can start putting the tents up. Time to step it up. I need some Carnival.

Thanks for stopping. I'll be seeing you here and there as we wander.

:ciao: :green_heart:

How are your hempies doing Sue? Sorry about your DDA. Maybe it will blow up soon. Have faith...

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Thanks for the encouragement Noob. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

This time I'll figure out the hempy pot and it'll be fabulous. :cheesygrinsmiley: For now, as documented in the post above, she's looking good. If I keep her from drying out she'll explode at some point. The hempys'll be easier to maneuver in the tent. Shooting for next week on that.

With the DD - small I think is genetic.

I've grown large DDA plants in small containers and itsy bitsy tiny plants in large containers. I've been checking the root ball when finished and they all, doesn't matter the size of the plant, the root ball is massive, completely fills whatever pot size they are in (runts are exception).

Oh and the effect of the meds seems to favor the small to medium size plants for whatever reason. My experience and I LOVE growing the DDA. It's back to my favorite right now... yum yum yummy!

My thoughts entirely Brunt FCA. She doesn't seem to have gotten the message that there's no time to waste. I missed the timing on her for topping too. She's certainly not on track to be the massive harvest I envisioned when I planted her.

Welcome to the journal, by the way. I see in your signature you're growing a Sweet Seeds mix. Great plants, eh? I'll have to swing through and take a quick look.

yeah, just updated. The Sweet Seeds mix came with a red auto. It started flowering quick.

Just finished watching Tony Robbin's new documentary on Netflix. Whew! A powerful two hours! I was celebrating the passing on of Dale's train collection to the model train club. Yep, it finally happened. Believe it or not, the guy's truck broke down in transit and he had to wrangle a couple vehicles and some extra hands who made swift work of removing everything. I'm 40 steep steps up. How does it not automatically occur to you that the most efficient way to move 20 boxes is to chain them down? I made sure that happened.

It opens up more space. Step by step the place becomes more my own. I'm growing very comfortable in this apartment. I'm already two more boxes into the next purge. :slide: Next week the tents go up. :yahoo: Life is sweet.

All caught up again Sue and I have a theory on your DDA, when started in a small pot, I find they grow small plants. think that once the roots start to fill out the bottom of the pot they stop growing up and start the flowering process.

:hugs:  :hugs:

:hugs:  :hugs:

So you're suggesting plant them in the finish pot? I was thinking that too, but I think there's something more in play here.

Mmmmm...... Thank you BB. :hugs: I'll let her run and hope for potent, but I'll also plant another to grow with her.

Sue, 102 posts later, I'm back! :hugs:

We move fast, but not quite that fast. :laughtwo: :hugs:

One of my Jackomatics is a runt. Growing from seed is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

 That's sometimes how it feels.

Starting a new room soon for me and a good friend . Browsed your journal and I'm subbed! We are going medicinal in one tent, and recreational/medicinal in the other. Also we would love to learn the oils as well. Happy growing...

:welcome: Bumble. Neat, that's pretty much how my tents will work out. So far, two of three autos is medicinal, although there's a good argument that my recreational plants are also meds. What will you be growing? Will you be doing a journal?

20 boxes is to chain them down?
20 boxes of train and then your brother's boxes.. you must have been a box lady there for a while. ? :laughtwo:
Well, now..put your gloves on..build your tent and start growing woman...:laughtwo: lets make serious growing out of the new space :bravo:

:laughtwo: I hope to get the workbench moved today and then I can start putting tents up. I woke up this morning and glanced over at the almost-ready to move workbench and got real excited. Lol! We're so addicted to the growing.

I dont think you could go wrong if ya have the chance to let it run. it is so hard not to
Also, i may be biased cause i see the color already and sure is pretty.

I have another shorty from my own cross seeds just getting going and a problem child which may go runt as well. I was going to do an environment overhaul anyway, but after I let them go as far as they can.

here is a look at my new problem child:

poor thing couldnt get it seed helmut off, it is gonna be a runt i just know.
'Cause he had high hopes, he had high hopes
He had high apple pie, in the sky hopes

:ciao:

*satisfied sigh*

Tents go up tomorrow

Daily Update: Saturday, July 23, 2016

Good evening everyone. Let me get this in before Callanetics. Not much going on today. I watered the hempy, nice and slow until run-off, but that was really it. I spent the greater part of the day cleaning off and moving the workbench from the bedroom to the kitchen to open up that wall for the tents. :yahoo: One more thing done to make the space mine.

image14922.jpeg

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 35) I moved the light up a few clicks. I'm going to try to just let her go from here on out.

image14925.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto (Day 33) Still no change. I'm gonna let her continue, but I'm dropping a new seed to join her in time. I haven't decided whether I'm going to start it alone or plant the seed right in the pot and set a CFL over it for a time.

image14926.jpeg

There's plenty of space in the front of the pot to plant, and if I choose there it'll be easier to supplement the lighting.

Industrial Plant (Day 5) Good color and energy on this one. I'm doing a better job of maintaining moistness, and that's got to be helping. I'm imagining that taproot shooting down to the reservoir. Any day now we'll see her start to grow.

image14927.jpeg

The workbench had to be partially disassembled to move it in here but I was able to do the entire job on my own. :blunt: After I get it all rearranged this'll work out so much better next to the water supply. It gives me a good surface for mixing up drenches and foliars. Now I have soil in the bedroom and everything else in the kitchen. Thing are starting to fall together nicely.

That's it for today guys. Time for some body sculpting. Thanks for dropping by. I assume your day's progressing along a sweet and joyful path? Good. Be sure to practice lots of gratitude along the way. It pulls wonderful things to you. Now that my daughter's essentially anxiety free with adequate medication she's beginning to see how effectively gratitude changes your life and she's making more effort to include it in every possible moment. Ahhh..... Just what her mother needed to hear.

I'll be seeing you when I take to visiting later. Tomorrow it's time to put up those tents. :slide:

:Namaste:

Well done !! Wish I was there to help you set it up :) Sending a virtual helping hand and some (muscle) too

Thank you AngryBird. Now I'm going to try to make myself get some sleep so I can get the job done. Middle of the night Callanetics always wakes me up.

Goodnight everyone she says at 5:18 AM :laughtwo:
