Blow Mind Auto (Day 8) isn't doing much to inspire confidence. She still lives. That's something, I suppose. I lifted her light a couple inches and drizzled 2 oz of water around her.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 22). These specimens have the most interesting coloration to the leaves.

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 24) is fighting me tooth and nail with the training. I decided to listen to her and set her loose. The sigh of relief was almost audible.

image14518.jpeg

Look at the health of her leaves! This one's more impressive than my first attempt.

Short and sweet tonight. I have a couple conversations in the oil threads I have to get back to, so I may not be around much this evening. I've been busy around the house all day. My determination to put the tents in the bedroom necessitates a complete rearrangement of my living space. Today I got the first step of many out of the way and improved my living quarters in doing so. I'm pretty proud of myself and oozing joy all over the place. I'll need to post something about it on my Spot.

Cross your fingers and toes; the train club guys are finally supposed to come and haul away Dale's hobby collection tomorrow night. That'll be a great relief. We've been working on that since April.

Spread some joy while you're out and about. Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you again tomorrow, if not sooner.

Then I went to arteekay's thread and decided that I control the plant, not the other way around.

:circle-of-love:

I do give them day or two breaks on occasion. But, ya do wanna keep them generally at least a little pissed off at you, the resentment inspires trich production. :)

I'm such a pushover arteekay. You need to stay on me about this. It was good that I went to your journal directly after removing the restraints. Whew! That was close. :laughtwo:

Be prepared once that girl in the hempy has her roots hit the res in a week or so she gonna explode with growth lol.

That's what happens with the SWICK plants too. Once those roots hit the reservoir you have to stand back outta their way. :laughtwo:

I keep telling myself that lexort. You reminded me, I haven't placed an order for Cal/Mag yet.

Ya your gonna want some calmag lol. I wouldn't know what kind to suggest to you since your an organic kind of gal. You have some kind of 3 part nutes or something for the hempy girl? Curious about what you are gonna use.

Hi was just chatting to Emily about cal mag
and will be fixing it myself.

Eggshells from a dozen eggs ( no membrane) crumble shells up..dry in paper plate for a day or 2. fermate/fry them in a pan until they change colour.. blackish... add to BIG bowl.. add 10 parts vinegar..it will bubble heavy for a while..
wait.. I give you the link to Emmie's post :
Emmie's DIY CalMagPhos+ From Eggshells

Just doing a drive by.... See ya talking cal-mag,,,, if it's soil,,,, bone meal.... I have to dump tons on mine. Could be our water is about 20 ppm of heavies. That leaves plants hungry for calcium. Stuff is a great time release of calcium. I haven't back read much of your thread, I'm kind of a picture type guy. Hopefully things are going great in your gardens. And hope you don't mind me taking a look see every now and then..... Keepem Green

You feel free to swing through and enjoy the pretty pictures anytime you want Norcaliwood. Good to see you. :hugs:  I have no problem with someone just asking instead of trying to read through. I get a bit wordy sometimes, but I try to balance it with visuals. Things are going quite well here, thanks. :battingeyelashes:

I'm using the SNS nutrients I won in the contests. Finally, a use for them. :battingeyelashes:

Sue, I believe those are supplements and they don't contain the full/complete nutrients needed in a hempy. In other words, they should be used in addition to a standard two or three part hydro mix.

Daily Update: Wednesday, July 13, 2016

I'm enjoying having the table in the living room. I haven't eaten a meal in the kitchen for almost 18 months now. It was time to face that reality. Having it in here gives me an extra work surface, and a better place to spread papers about.

image14554.jpeg

That table space came in real handy when my class on The Economics and Business of Cannabis offered by the University of Vermont started.

image14555.jpeg

Quite an interesting class. Left me wondering why anyone would want to be in the market right now. Were you aware that because it's scheduled illegal and dangerous to society you can't take any business deductions on your federal taxes, which can push your tax rate in a cannabis business as high as 70%? Insanity. Can you even imagine what'll happen in this country when they finally make that scheduling change? Anybody think they have the balls to just legalize across the board? Yeah, me neither, but we can dream, can't we?

Lets take a quick look at the girls. Today's my walking club and I hope to get some Callanetics in before then. I'm a little stiff with all the packing and hauling. I'm responsible for repsonsible for repacking and shipping my brother's belongings.

image14556.jpeg

Blow Mind Auto (Day 9) No change that we can see. We know there's growth going on down below. Well, we hope, don't we?

Med GOM 1.0 (Day 25) I tightened up the restraints.

Plugging along. It gives me time to get everything else done. Step one was relocate the table. Next I have to get the workbench disassembled (I'm taking the overhead shelf off) and moved into the kitchen. Then I can get the tents back up.

Slowly but surely it all comes together. The train club rescheduled for next Friday so I didn't have to miss my walking club. Sweet guys. It sometimes feels like this is never going to get done though.

Thanks for visiting. Get out there and have a joyful day now. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart: I'll catch up to you all later.

:Namaste:

posted pics just for you

I was looking at them today thinking that same thing. Ok guys, I'm all ears. I need inexpensive but effective. Any suggestions? I cannot believe I'm going to purchase nutrients. It's all in the name of experience Susan. Take a breath.

GH Flora series is good for hydro and inexpensive...You can pick up pints of the Grow/Micro/Bloom for $25 for ALL THREE or, individually for about $25-$30 per gallon. Depending on how many hempy's and the size of the containers, the pints will likely be enough to get at least 2-4 plants through harvest.

Thank you. I'll place the order right now. It should be here by the beginning of next week. Until then I think I'll use some comfrey. It certainly can't hurt and I have a bottle of the comfrey fertilizer sitting in the kitchen.

Done! The nutrients should be here by Friday. There are moments when I'm so thankful the family has a rainforest Prime account. :battingeyelashes:
